~Aurora~

　　The contract was to turn her into a double agent. Alexia had gone back to the kingdom. Before she left our back and my territory she hinted that Leif was hiding in his base camp that he built within the kingdom. I was slightly taken aback by the information but remained calm.

　　"I'll let you know the progress and everything that I've learned from the kingdom. You gotta know where he is coming from too, right?"

　　"I never expected you to be this involved in our pact. I'm surprised." I expressed my gentle gratitude towards her in another meaning. She could sense the kind of tone and words I was using and chuckled before finally leaving my territory.

　　"I have to earn my keep, isn't it?"

　　"Fair enough," dismissing her, I watched her enter the private jet and take off with the loud noise of the transport. Finally, the bitch was out of my territory.

　　'Maia, it's alright. I know she feels uncomfortable to even have a conversation with. Good job on not growling out and chewing her out. I know you are not on good terms with anyone who had wronged me. I love you, Maia~'

　　'Hmm…but if she ever tries to do something to you, I'd rip her to shreds. She seems like a weak wolf when she shifts.' I chuckled at the amount of shade Maia was throwing at Alexia for no reason! She is such a pleasant companion for me. I love Maia with all my heart.

　　Back to the narration, Alexia had reached the kingdom and was curiously waiting for Leif to enter the scene. She was outside the camp establishment which was right next to the palace which Leif destroyed for his ambitions. Leif was trying to rebuild the palace but at the same time he was trying to do something else to take over more than just the kingdom. He was already planning on taking over many other kingdoms! Talk about having too much ambition.

　　Alexia was spying into the background and found someone peculiar in the situation. The scent of the man seemed familiar. Alexia was curious as she went back to her room and tried to remember who the hell was in the scene who had the familiar scent. As she realized who it was she could not believe that it was actually true. 'What a fake ass betrayer was amongst us now~' She said the words to herself and chuckled like the devil.

　　Almost instantly she messaged Emeric saying that beta Torin from my pack had been detected on the scene.

　　I kept staring at the message as I couldn't believe what was really happening. Emeric on the other hand was truly disappointed in this situation. But his hunch was right. He had predicted that Torin and Leif must be working together to bring me down and also be the ones who were involved in the planning of my parents' death!

　　He moved close to me and wrapped his arm around me. We were sitting quietly on the bed and I just happened to stare at the mirror in front of me.

　　Emeric gently kissed my cheek. "We are going to get back at them. I promise you that I will avenge your parents' tragic death." I shook my head at him.

　　"That is something I need to do, Emeric. You only have to take down Leif and figure out how he had gotten so powerful…."

　　Again in the evening of the same day, Alexia had messaged as we were anticipating a progress in her reporting as an agent.

　　Alexia suddenly called as out of the blue. Emeric pick the call in a Heartbeat and ask her what was going on now. Alexia urged that there was something going on because of the pact between Leif and Torin.

　　" I swear to the Goddess that I saw your artifact lying there, open on the desk. The camp was heavily guarded and I just knew that Leif was hiding something inside it. I somehow managed to sneak in and gathered this information." She said,

　　"I am not sure if I can interpret the script that was in the scroll that was within the artifact." I grew confused as I told her that there was no scroll or such in the artifact when I had taken it.

　　We can guess that it might be Leif had written it down on a piece of paper. But how come Leif could have written it in a script that could not be broken down by Alexia. I asked her to send the picture of the script and she said she had it in her phone and would send it when she goes back to her room.

　　Emeric and I started praying that Alexia would not be caught by Leif or anyone who was in the scene. We waited for a while and then the notification sound on Emeric's phone went off. Emeric quickly checked on his phone and knew that it was Alexia who sent the message that had the attachment with it.

　　Our hearts were beating out of our chest. I don't think I can understand this either. Even Emeric could not understand what script it was written in. However there was a small diagram of a leaf which I could not help but recognise from my knowledge that I got from trials and training.

　　"...The drawing he made was out of the prophecy that he was seeing." As I said that, Emeric nodded his head and told me that it might be a possibility.

　　This is exactly what happened to me as well. You have to note down what you have seen or what you were told by the greater power that was hidden in the artifact. Leif was well prepared as he wrote down his true vision and the voice that heard from The artifact. There was no doubt that it was indeed The Prophecy power that he used of the artifact. How did he even know how to use our artifact? I forgot that it must be because of Torrent. Torrent was a commendable beta of our pack anyway.

　　It did not take long for us to connect the dots. The herb that was drawn out of Leif's vision from the prophecy…i recognised it.

　　"Emeric…this herb is a forbidden herb found in the depths of the Whispering Pines woods! I remember clearly, this herb would enhance a person's every combat ability! I remember reading only half of what it does, but I am sure it was that herb. Besides, there is something more about the herb which has a drawback as well." Emeric's eyes lit up with surprise as I smiled at him!

　　"That's right…we finally have an opportunity to take him down, Emeric! Oh lord…I can't believe we finally found a way!" I exclaimed and pounced onto Emeric! He hugged me back,

　　"You are the best detective on the scene, Aurora! My little, adorable spy!" He kissed my head,

　　"Now…leave everything to me. I know how to lure that man out of the kingdom. I will fight him by myself. And this time…I will win." I looked at him with stars in my eyes. He looked so attractive and determined at the moment. It is always something about a man that makes him thousand times more attractive when he is protective and has qualities such as leadership and everything else.
