CHAPTER 14

I was restless when I lost her. My wolf was mad at me for no reason until we saw her again. She was a little hurricane that had turned my whole life upside down. And yet I was so crazy about her that I was trying everything I could to make her stay with me forever. This was not me. It was not how I used to be. She slowly opened her eyes, groaning lazily. I thought she was going to be scared to see me sitting by her side like that, watching her sleep, as if I was a pervert. But instead, my heart suddenly fluttered as she gave me the cutest smile I have ever seen in my life. I was not sure how she did it but she was the only one who could have ever made my heart flutter like that.

She tried to sit up on the bed. But I laid her back down. "Why are you waking up? It is still way too early in the morning. You have had any sleep in the past twenty six days. I think it is fair if you slept a little late today. Go back to sleep. I am going out, anyway." I whispered while patting her head gently. My gentle pats made her eyelids heavy again. She nodded her head and closed her eyes. I gulped hard as I leaned over. I want to peck her forehead again for some reason. I doubted if she would let me. But I was surprised as she didn't stop me or turn her face away.

I pecked her forehead and inhaled her intoxicating scent as deeply as I could. "Sleep tight. I will wake you up once I am back. Till then, just rest." I whispered in her ear again. She turned around while nodding her head. She hugged one of her pillows and fell asleep again. I couldn't help myself around her. I couldn't stop myself around her. I didn't touch her in the wrong way. I was not even horny. I couldn't name this feeling inside of me. That was the reason I needed to see Gregory and Lauren. I stood up and walked towards the door of the bedroom. I looked at her one last time before I stepped out of the bedroom.

It took me a while to find the clothes of her perfect size. Although I didn't touch her once, I was able to remember her size because of the dream. Call me stupid but I had a hunch that it was her perfect size. Leaving everything in the car, I went towards Gregory's house. I rang the bell twice and a minute later, the door finally opened. "Alpha Elijah. I was not expecting you at our house this early. Is everything alright?" Gregory asked me as soon as he saw my face. He stepped aside and invited me inside his home. As I walked in, he closed the door and led me towards the dining room of their house where his wife was preparing breakfast.

"Yeah! I mean, no! I don't know! I don't know what is wrong with me. I don't know what is going on with me. I am just so confused. You are the only people I could think of. I need your help." I replied to Gregory in a low and confused tone. I knew they might have heard the frustration in my tone as well. They turned to look at each other as for the first time, they heard my confused tone.

"What is going on, Alpha? You were never this confused in your life. Tell us, what is going on?" Lauren asked me in a low tone while staring at me. The confused look on her face was understandable. She had no idea what was driving me crazy.
