ARTEMIS' POV:-
Hearing his last condition, I was a little shocked. I was actually supposed to be expecting that from him. Since I hardly had any chances talking to anyone other than Alpha Elijah. It started to look like Alpha Elijah had forbidden everyone to chat with me. "Don't you think it's a little too much that you are asking me? Both your conditions were controlling. I didn't say a thing. But now you are just crossing a line, Alpha Elijah." My eyes widened as I heard the words that escaped my mouth. I covered my mouth with a horrified look on my face. Annoyed with those controlling conditions of his, Tracy was the one who asked Alpha Elijah those questions in an annoyed tone.
I guess Alpha Elijah also understood that it was Tracy who responded to him. For a moment, Alpha Elijah was shocked hearing my words. My voice was changed as the wolf's voice was always heavier than the voice of the host. "Well, it's either this or no deal at all. The choice is yours. I have no problem keeping you home all the time, Artemis." Alpha Elijah replied to Tracy's question in a low tone. But the mischievous grin on his face was an evidence for his victory.
"That bastard! He is seriously controlling our life as if he owns us both. But I am not going to give up that easily. I will never let anyone control the life of my host anymore." Tracy growled angrily.
I was a little confused as I was not expecting Tracy to be suddenly so serious. And her words sounded and she was hurting. And yet I had no idea what triggered her anger that much. "Fine, Alpha. If that's your condition, than you will agree for a condition of mine too. It's not related to school or going anywhere outside. The condition is supposed to be within these walls." Tracy agreed to alpha Elijah's third condition without even considering to discuss it with me. I was hardly able to control, as Tracy was way stronger that me. I had no idea what kind of condition she had in her mind. As she hadn't once mentioned anything about this condition. I wondered what she was planning.
Being the host, I was supposed to be able to feel, listen and understand everything about my wolf. But Tracy was suddenly changed. "If that's nothing that should be outside of these walls. I assure you to consider it done. It's the words you are getting from your Alpha. You can go to school under these three conditions and I promise I accept your condition as well." I was even more shocked when I heard Alpha Elijah agreeing to the condition tract was talking about without even hearing that condition. I felt Tracy smiling mischievously as she heard Alpha Elijah. As if she might have won a war against Alpha Elijah. I gulped hard as I started to feel that this conversation was not going as I had planned.
"Alright then, I will be expecting to sleep in my own personal bedroom from tomorrow. Since it's already been too late tonight, I can't expect to get my own bedroom tonight. But tomorrow night. Thank you, Alpha Elijah." Tracy spoke in a confident tone. My own eyes widened in shock as I also heard Tracy's words coming out of my own mouth.
"Wait! Your own separate bedroom? What the fuck are you talking about, Artemis?" Alpha Elijah asked me in a low tone. He looked confused. While I couldn't hide my excitement. I just once complained it to Tracy that I was not comfortable sleeping on the same bed as Alpha Elijah. I never once thought that she would talk about that condition.
Hearing his questions, Tracy smirked mischievously and I couldn't help myself when that smirk reached my own lips as well. "Oh! The condition you just promised to agree with, Alpha Elijah. I want my own bedroom. I like the bedroom right beside yours. It's big, it has the perfect view, a big balcony where I can keep my plants, the lighting will be amazing and I will feel closer to the moon, since it's more open balcony than the rest of the penthouse. I will give you the list of the things I like." Tracy replied to Alpha Elijah in that same excited tone. Alpha Elijah was shocked for more than a few minutes. He looked like he had lost his words.
After a few minutes, he blinked a few times. Then a furious look appeared on his face as he finally understood what he actually agreed upon without knowing the condition. "Keep on dreaming. You are never going to get your own separate room. You will remain forever in my bedroom." Alpha Elijah replied to Tracy in an angry tone. He was practically glaring at me. I felt y heart skipping it's beats as Alpha Elijah's intense gaze was boring holes in my head.
"Well, it's your fault that you agreed to my condition without asking. You gave your alpha words. Now you can't back down, Alpha Elijah. You know what it means if you went back on your words now." Tracy was practically fighting him. I could feel fear, anger and sorrows emitting from her heart as she tried to fight Alpha Elijah.
Hearing her words, Alpha Elijah started laughing hysterically at us. As if he was taunting at us. It angered Tracy even more. "And who is going to tell the others? You are nothing but a rogue if I stepped away from you. No one will believe you. You will be left alone, Artemis. If you want to survive, you need an Alpha. If I banished you, you will be nothing but a plaything in the hands of the rogues. Let's not forget the pack that kept you imprisoned for thirty days." Hearing Alpha Elijah's threatening words, I was sure that this fight was never going to end.
I knew, Tracy was doing everything she could to protect me. But that fight was not going to do any good to any of us. And Alpha Elijah was right. We needed him. To break that threatening series, I had to step in between them. "Well then, it's either this or that, Alpha Elijah. It's your choice. I can live forever without uttering a single word in front of you, without looking at you or without giving you anything from me. It's your choice. So choose wisely." Tracy gave me her strength as I repeated Alpha Elijah's words in front of him.
He got to have a taste of his own medicine. It was not my fault though. He was the one who had started that fight. We were just negotiating with him. And we were not as ruthless as we had been with us. To make it more persuasive, I decided to do something more than just barking words. I crawled out of the bed and jumped on my feet. An angry poyt appeared on my face as I turned around and walked towards the door of the bedroom. "Agh!!! Okay, fine." I heard his screaming out of frustration.
