ELIJAH'S POV:-

　　Artemis was at school alone with Amy, Ryan and Amira. I chose the same school for her to make sure Artemis would not be alone at school if any emergencies occur. Rest if the pack was gathered in my apartment. Nichole was the one who asked for a pack meeting. Although I asked her to wait for the triplets and Artemis to return back home. But she was determined to do it right away. "Alright! Now we don't have all the time in the world to keep on waiting for you. So, whatever you want to tell us, just hurry up and spit it out." Daniel asked Nichole in an annoyed tone. We still had two more meetings to attend by the end of the day.

　　Nichole turned her head towards Emma as if asking for her permission. I rolled my eyes as I already knew that Nichole and Emma were going to waste our time. "You don't have to be afraid, Nichole. You are doing the right thing. Don't be afraid and just say it out loud. I am with you. And you will see everyone else standing with you too." Emma spoke in a low tone. She was encouraging Nichole. Kevin was standing behind Nichole, rubbing her back. I turned to look at Daniel who was staring at me with the same annoyed look on his face as I had on my face. Of course we knew that there was nothing important they were about to share with us.

　　They just gathered us around to waste everyone's time. Dean always warned me to kick Emma out of the pack. As she would be nothing but a huge pain in my ass. I couldn't just kick her out, she was my sister. "It's about Artemis, Alpha Elijah. She threatened me. She threatened the whole pack. She is planning on taking over the pack. She threatened me a few days ago. She is planning a betrayal. We know not all the wild wolves died that night. I am sure she might have found a few. And now, she is plotting alonge to take over our pack." Nichole finally spat everything out and I growled at her. I was expecting to soon hear that rubbish.

　　Nichole had been giving Artemis a hard time. She thought I didn't notice but she was forgetting the fact that I was their Alpha for a reason. "You all hear that. She is plotting to take us down. She is working with wild wolves. She wants to kill us all to avenge the death of the wild alpha who turned her. I told you to never believe that wild wolf. But you accepted her in the pack without asking any of us. Did you hear Nichole now? That little plaything of yours, Elijah. That little ungrateful bitch is trying to take over our father's land." Emma added further, cursing Artemis as if she was nothing. I couldn't believe my own sister could be a bitch.

　　I thought I had raised her well. But I was so wrong. It took me everything to stop Dean from leashing out and ripping her throat out. Daniel and I growled at Emma angrily. I was able to open my mouth to give her a piece of my mind. "Watch your mouth Emma. Don't you dare say another word about her ever again. You better think before you bark unnecessary words out of you fucking mouth." I turned around as I heard Lauren's voice. Gregory and Lauren were standing with the door frame of the living room, growling angrily. For a moment, Emma stopped to think why Lauren was taking Artemis' side. Maybe I knew why she did that. But I was too scared to say anything at all.

　　"Are you defending that bit…" Emma tried to ask Lauren in the same angry tone as she was using before. But Lauren slapped Emma across the face to shut her up. Emma's eyes widened in horror. It was the very first time anyone would have touched her. They all respected and spoiled Emma because she was my baby sister. Then she turned around and slapped Nichole on her face as well.

　　"How dare you say such disrespectful and humiliating words for your future Luna? How dare you both plot against Luna? Have you both lost your minds?" Lauren yelled at Emma and Nichole in an angry tone. All eyes went wide in horror as they all heard Lauren. My eyes were wide in shock.

　　I might have been praying for that little dream I had, to come true. I was shocked when I finally heard that my prayers were answered. "By the grace of the Moon Goddess, our Alpha Elijah is bestowed with a lovely mate. They share a mate bond together. So I suggest you call her Luna Artemis from now on. Any humiliations will be considered as betrayal with Alpha. If you know what I mean." Gregory finally announced in a low tone. My heart was on cloud nine when Gregory confirmed everything. While Dean was literally dancing inside me. As if that news made him very happy. I actually felt as happy as Dean was. I also wanted to dance in happiness.

　　But of course, I couldn't do that. At least not that earlier. I had so many things to do. Also, I couldn't let Artemis know that. At least, not until she would open her arms for me on her own. I didn't want to force her to be with me. "Wait! What are you saying? That's impossible. Mate bond doesn't exist anymore." Noah, one of my pack members asked in a low and confused tone. Of course, they were all very confused after hearing the news. It was true that mate bonds no longer existed. But Gregory did say that it happened by the grace of Moon Goddess' powers. Anything and everything was possible if the Moon Goddess wanted it to happen. After all, it was Moon Goddess who took away the mate bond's blessings away from this ungrateful world.

　　I was happy. I was planning on running into the woods that night and howl at the moon. To thank the Moon Goddess for trusting me after a century and a half. She selected me and Artemis with her blessings again. "Well, didn't I just say that it was the Moon Goddess' will. She can do whatever she wants. She chose Alpha Elijah to break that curse. And Luna Artemis will be taking her part in the blessings as well." Gregory replied to Noah in a low tone.

　　I was very excited to learn all the details. But first, I had a few things to take care of. "For now, keep it Artemis. I don't want her to feel like she is forced to be with me. Let her feel comfortable around me. So until she says it out loud in front of everyone, no one is allowed to call her Luna or as her stupid questions. No one is allowed to tell her about mate bond and this blessing as well. I don't want anyone to fuck up here." I calmly ordered everyone to keep the news between the pack members. I just didn't want Artemis to feel burdened. At least not when she was working hard to graduate.
