ARTEMIS' POV:-

　　I was finally done with my mathematics exam. As promised, Elijah helped me prepare for the exam. Not just that, he was sitting right beside me in the principal's office when I attended my exam. The principal checked my paper and marked it right in front of Elijah. Elijah agreed with the principal when he told Elijah not to tell me my grades. But Elijah told me my score. We were leaving the school when my mathematics teacher was called in to have a talk with the principal. He had kept his side of the promise. Now, it was my turn to keep my side of the bargain. And I was so nervous ever since we came back home. I was not sure if I could do that.

　　I stepped out of the shower, a towel wrapped around my body. I walked towards my closet and looked for something to wear at night. I grabbed a dark grey silky nightie. I slipped into my night clothes and walked back into my bedroom. I froze in my place when I saw Alpha Elijah lying on my bed. He was just wearing a pair of sweatpants. He was not wearing anything on his upper body. Both of this hands were resting under his head. He was staring at the ceiling and humming a song. I felt something tickling between my legs as I saw his perfectly toned upper body. I slowly walked towards the bed, trying to ease up that ticklish sensation between my legs.

　　A wide smile was on his face. He might have already sensed my scent in the room. But he didn't turn to look at me. I sat down on the edge of the bed, staring at him. He looked like he might ha e won a lottary. Unlike me, Tracy was very excited for that cuddling plan Elijah had for every night. I was nervous but Tracy was dancing in excitement. I laid down on the bed and held my breath. It was not going to be the first time when I was supposed to hug him or snuggle with him. But lying with on in the same bed the whole night, cuddling up with him, I was not sure it would be as easy as the hugging him for a few minutes.

　　There was a part of me that was actually looking forward to fall asleep while listening to his heartbeat. Alpha Elijah hopped off of the bed and turned all the lights off. Then he came back to the bed. He laid down on the bed and brushed his fingers on my bareback. I bit my lower lip and turned around to face him. He opened his arms for me. "Come on! Give me what I want." He spoke in a low and seductive tone. I saw a bright shine in his eyes. As if the thought of cuddling up with me the whole night was nothing but a pure Bliss for him.

　　I giggled as I snuggled closer to him. He exhaled sharply as he wrapped both of his arms around me. I placed my head with his chest and closed my eyes. His heart was not beating calmly. Instead, his heart was drumming erratically inside his rib cage. Of course, he was excited about it very much. I could say that by the look on his face ever since I agreed with conditions. "Couldn't you wear anything on your upper body as well. I feel uncomfortable to cuddle up with you." I complained in a low tone. Although it was not a big deal. I decided to tease him a little. By that time, I was habitual of watching him half naked in front of me.

　　It was hot to watch him cook. He never let me do anything. He always cooked for me by his own hands. Watching him cook for me, was just a pure pleasure. And he actually never cooked with his shirt on. "Quit with your complaints, baby girl. You are mine now." He whispered softly in my ear and my heart skipped a beat.

　　"Oh my Goddess! He just called us his. He knows that too. That we are his mate." Tracy literally spoke the words I was about to say out loud but I controlled myself. I didn't want to behave like a greedy bitch. I wanted him to approach to me. Although he had been giving me lots of signals, he didn't say anything about his feelings for me. Or if, I was actually his mate.

　　Tracy told me everything about mate and their bond. I never asked anyone about it. But I was planning on to ask that from Amy. I gasped loudly as Alpha Elijah brushed his fingers on my back again. I looked up at him. He had a concerned look on his face. "Are you serious about being uncomfortable with me? I don't want you to be uncomfortable." He asked me in a low and worried tone. I had to fight the urge to kiss him on his lips. Whenever he dropped his dominating act, I just couldn't help but feel warm inside. He was just the perfect man any woman would ever have wanted.

　　He was like that with me. In front of the others, he was a devil. Everyone was afraid of him. As for me, I just learned that I was his weakness. So I used his weakness right on time. "No! I will be fine. I am sleepy. I want to sleep now." I replied to him on a low tone, acting as if I could bear him without a shirt. But to be honest, it actually felt good. I was worried how I was going to fall asleep. I never had anyone in my life to cuddle up with me like that before. But now, when I was cuddling up with Elijah, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. It felt warm and refreshing and peaceful. And his beating heart was like a calm lullaby for me.

　　He chuckled softly as he heard my words. He tightened his hold around me and pecked the top of my head. "Have you thought of a college where you want to go? Now that your exams are almost over. And your final year is finishing up, you need to think of a college where you want to continue your studies." Alpha Elijah spoke in a low tone while rubbing his ha d on my back gently. It felt so good to be in his arms, that I didn't pay any attention towards his words.

　　It took me a while to finally be able to understand what he just said. I gasped loudly as I pulled away from him. There was a wide smile on his face. As if he knew how happy I would be after hearing what he just said. I was blinking my eyes like an idiot while staring at his face. "Really! Are you being serious? You will do that? Are you really sending me to college?" I asked Elijah on a low and confused tone. Excitement was bubbling inside me but I tried to stay calm. I couldn't just start celebrating without confirming what I just heard.
