ARTEMIS' POV:-
Alisa was rubbing herself like a slut she really was. I started laughing hysterically at her as I heard her. She opened her eyes and looked at me with a confused frown on her face. She was unable to understand why I was laughing at her. " You sick slut. You can't even stop dripping. You really think I will believe anything a slut like you would say to me." I answered the question I saw in Alisa's eyes.
She was staring at me with wide eyes. She literally thought I would be able to make me believe all her lies. She just didn't know what she was dealing with. "You are just a brainless bitch. You just told me something I didn't know." I added in a taunting tine, making sure she would understand that I was disrespecting her.
Her eyes widened in horror. Although I was hoping to see anger in her eyes. I didn't know she would be that dumb. "What are you talking about?" She asked me in a confused tone while staring at me. I saw fear in her eyes.
I took a step towards her, glaring into her eyes. "Elijah never touched you, did he? He is disgusted by you and he wants you gone. That's why you came here. So you can fill my head with lies and tell me to stay away from Elijah." I took my guess, seeing the fear in her eyes. There was a voice inside my head that was telling me that she was just there to manipulate me.
I smirked mischievously as I saw her eyes widening when I told her what I felt was true. "And your ugly face just told me that I am absolutely right." I added in a low tone, smirking at her.
I gritted my teeth as I walked towards her. "You sick bitch! You actually thought you could get away with whatever you have been doing." I yelled at her angrily. She brought that on herself. She actually thought she could get everything she wanted.
I pushed her away and she fell to the ground. She was too terrified to even save herself from the fall. "What are you talking about?" She asked me in a terrified tone while staring into my eyes.
Hearing her question, I chuckled. "Oh, don't play dumb games. What else would I have been talking about? I know your dirty little secret." I replied to her in a mischievous tone. She didn't know that I was able to know everything. She planned to kill me but she got stuck in her own web.
"I don't have a secret." Shaking her head, she yelled at me. She thought denial was going to save her anymore. She was stupid if she thought that way.
"Sure, you do. You have been trying so hard not to blow your chance off with Elijah. But I was a wall between you and your sick and twisted ambition." I added in a low tone because I know her plans. I was able to understand why just as she told me all those lies. She didn't know that her expressions told me the truth.
She stood up, growling in anger. "Just shut your mouth!" Alisa yelled at me as she tried to slap me. With one hand, I grabbed her wrist and with my other hand, I slapped her across the face. She stepped away from me because of that hard slap on her face.
"Oh, I am just getting started. I knew about your babies since day one. But I couldn't figure out why you stunk. I was never around any wild wolves. But then, you did something foolish." I started telling her where she fucked up the master plan she made before she came to the pack. I guess she was planning on deceiving Elijah from day one. She just couldn't get him to look at her because of me.
I was circling around her while reading her body language. "You planned the attack on me and fooled Emma in your plan. Do you think I didn't notice that Emma started being stupid and aggressive after you came into the pack?" I asked her in an angry tone. That was another thing I couldn't understand when I was thinking about everything Alisa had been doing behind our backs. There was no explanation to whatever Emma had been doing.
I decided to ask her so I would find the truth. I knew she would be able to give up something. Alisa growled angrily as she attacked me. I bent down and kicked her chest with both of my legs. She went flying away from me. I stood up and smirked at her. "Next time, be careful. You will not even see me coming." I added in a mischievous tone.
She was lying on the ground, staring at me with a horrified look in her eyes. She knew that I could tell everyone her secrets. "I never thought about it. You were knocked up by the wild wolves. Now you are running from them. I bet you are no longer engaged. Who would want to marry a slut like you?" I quoted something Tracy had told me when we were talking about Alisa and her master plan to get her dirty hands on Elijah.
"Shut up!" She yelled at me angrily. She was afraid that the others would hear me.
"You shut up, you ugly bitch." I yelled back at her, making sure she would stay quiet. I was the one questing. I wanted her to answer.
"You think I will shut up now. Oh no! What you did to me, I will make sure to humiliate you in front of everyone." I added in a low tone, threatening her with something she feared the most. She didn't want her secret to come out. While I wanted to know everything so I could inform the others. She was a snake who bites its own family.
"What did you do?" She asked me in a low and confused tone. The fear on her face was just amazing. She was terrified that I would do something to her.
I was not interested in her or her babies. I wanted to protect my pack from her. She was a wild wolf. She was not allowed inside our pack. "Oh! I didn't do anything now. But I will soon be doing something you never imagined in your worst nightmare." I replied to her in a calm tone while playing with the locks of my hair.
"You will never have Elijah. I will make sure of it." She yelled at me angrily. She didn't have anything else to threaten me with. So she decided to use Elijah's name.
"Oh, shut up. He was never with you. That's why you are here. You just need to make sure to keep me away. But I don't get it, why would you come here? After all, you opened your legs for a stinky bastard like you." I asked her another question that had been bothering me. I wanted to understand what she had in her mind when she came to the pack. I couldn't help but think she was planning something nasty.
She turned her face away when she heard me. My eyes widened in shock as I finally realised her true motive. "Oh… my… God… you have been seducing Elijah ever since you came here. You are planning to dumb these bastards babies on Elijah." I added in a low tone, practically asking her what she was doing.
She looked at me with fear in her eyes. Her eyes gave me the answer I wanted from her. "You sick slut! I was right about you. Your man refused to accept you so you came crawling back towards Elijah. So you can dump these kids on Elijah." I growled at her angrily. I couldn't control myself anymore.
All this was because she wanted to get Elijah. I didn't know what she fed Emma but I was damn sure Emma was another woman in her way. So she planned to get rid of Emma too. "You stay away from Elijah. He is mine.." Alisa yelled at me and I slapped her again.
That slap shit her up again. "Oh, he will be pleased to know everything you are planning to do with him. I will enjoy the moment he will kick your stinky ass out of the pack." I added in a low tone, making sure she would answer all my questions. I already knew everything. I just wanted her to confirm.
"Are you planning on saving Emma? She is the one who got you raped. She knew what was going to happen to you." She asked me with a smirk on her face. She was taunting me but she didn't know she just gave me the answer I wanted to know.
"Don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. Because I will be telling everyone what you have been doing in today's meeting." With a mischievous grin on my face, I replied to her in a calmed tone. I turned around to leave because I knew she would not dare to touch me.
She saw what I did to those wild wolves. I didn't kill all of them. But the pack found the others that I had killed. It terrified her enough not to try and attack me again. "You stay out of this." She yelled at me as I was walking away.
"I don't take orders from anyone. Let's see, who is going to win, you stinky bitch." I halted my steps and calmly replied to her. Without sparing a single glance at her, I walked away.
I stepped into my mother's home and walked towards the kitchen. I knew I would find my mother in the kitchen. "I am home!" I informed my mom as I walked towards her and hugged her from behind. Her scent helped me calm down.
"Good Lord! I was worried about you." My mom spoke in a worried tone. She grabbed my hands and pulled me in front of her. She pecked my forehead as always.
I smiled shyly as my mother was treating me like a baby. "I am fine, mom. Don't worry." I replied to her in a low tine as I grabbed the bottle of milk from the fridge. I poured myself some milk as my stomach was growling.
"Beta Daniel is here to see you. He is waiting for you in the drawing room." My mom informed me as I was pouring milk in the glass. I slammed the bottle on the counter and looked at her with an annoyed look on my face.
"What does he want from me?" I asked my mom in an annoyed tone. I had told her already that I didn't want to talk to anyone. She just didn't listen to me.
"Artemis! You should be kind to other people. Go and talk to him. I will get you something to eat. You must be hungry." Mom replied to me in a low tone as she took the bottle from me and filled the glass. I rolled my eyes at her. I didn't want to upset her.
"Yes! I am starving." I replied to her as I grabbed the glass of milk and walked away. I decided to talk to Daniel.
I stepped into the drawing room and found Daniel sitting on a couch. I walked towards him and took my seat across the table. "How are you doing?" Daniel asked me in a nervous tone as he saw me.
"I am good. What brought you here, Daniel?" I replied to him in a low tone then asked him the reason he was at my mother's home.
"You know what might have brought me to you." Daniel replied to me in a calmed tone. Yes! I knew why he was there. He was there to be Elijah's lawyer.
"Talk!" I growled at him in annoyance. Although I didn't want to hear anything, I decided to give him a chance because I had to tell him everything I learned about Alisa.
"It's about Elijah. He has locked himself inside his bedroom. He hasn't come out in two days. I am worried about him." He informed me in a panicked tone. I sighed because I already knew Daniel was there to convince me.
"And as always, you want me to deal with him." I asked him in an annoyed tone. It happened every single time. They would do something and I was expected to fix everything for them.
"I am asking you to check up on him." Daniel replied to me in a pleading tone. I wanted to laugh at him because he just repeated my words in a different way.
"It's the same thing, Daniel." I added in an annoyed tone. I didn't want to talk to Elijah because I was not ready to see him again.
"You know, he would never cheat on you." Daniel added in a low tone. I raised my brow at him out of curiosity.
"Did he say something to you?" I asked Daniel in a low tone. I wanted to know what Elijah had been thinking. Alisa had been manipulating everyone since the day she stepped into the pack. It was partially Elijah's fault because he brought her in without asking her anything.
I believed he was supposed to ask her fiance what Alisa was doing far away from her home. Elijah just trusted her blindly and now that he was in trouble, everyone was looking at me to clean up the mess. "Yes! He talked to me the very next day. And he asked me not to tell you anything." Daniel replied to me in a low tone.
I figured Elijah wouldn't want to accept his mistake. He was supposed to talk to me. He was supposed to tell me that he made a mistake. That's all. I knew in my guts he didn't cheat. He just didn't deny it. "Why is he not telling me?" I asked Daniel in a low tone. I was frustrated because Elijah was being childish.
"Because he thinks he doesn't deserve you. That's why he is hurting himself." Daniel replied to me in a low tone. It was nothing new. He always hid behind that same phrase. That he didn't deserve me. If he wanted a relationship, he was supposed to talk to me.
My eyes widened in horror as I heard Daniel. I was expecting that phrase again but I didn't think Elijah would do something stupid. "What are you talking about? What do you mean he is hurting himself?" I asked Daniel in a concerned tone. I definitely didn't want Elijah to hurt himself.
"I went to meet him today. He was sleeping. I have no idea if he has eaten anything in the last two days. He was pale and he smelled like death." Daniel replied to me in a low tone and I slapped my palm on my forehead.
"He is punishing himself." I mumbled to myself. I was annoyed because Elijah didn't trust me too. He didn't confront me. He didn't once try to tell me that he didn't do anything at all.
"Yes! And you are the only one who can convince him. Please talk to him. He is my best friend. I can't see him in pain." Daniel added in a low tone as he heard me mumbling. He was worried about Elijah too. All it would have taken was for Elijah to talk. He just decided to shut up because of what happened that night.
I knew Alisa played us all. I was no longer mad at her for that night. Tracy's tail finally grew back. The assault was still giving me nightmares. But I knew it was not Elijah's fault. "All I wanted was for him to tell me the truth. I wanted him to tell me that Alisa means nothing to him and nothing happened between them that night." I added in a low tone while staring at the white content in my glass.
"You knew the truth all along?" Daniel asked me in a surprised tone. I looked at him and rolled my eyes in annoyance.
"No! I just came to know. Alisa attacked me when I was on my way back home. She was trying to convince me that she and Elijah were a thing." I replied to Daniel in an annoyed tone. I didn't tell him everything just yet.
"That lying bitch.." Daniel tried to defend Elijah by cursing Alisa. But I already knew the truth.
"I know it's not the truth. She was determined to make me believe her lies. If it was true, she wouldn't be following me." I added in a low tone, making sure he would know that I believed Elijah. I was just frustrated because he didn't try to contact me again. He didn't come to meet me again. Be was ignoring me and I felt bad even though I was the victim.
"If you know the truth, then please. Go to Elijah and talk to him. He will die if he doesn't see you. " Daniel pleaded with me and I sighed. I knew what I was supposed to do. He needed me and I couldn't turn my face away from him. After all, he had helped me when no one was ready to trust me.
"I know! I want you to take me to him." I replied in a low tone. I wanted to see him. Thankfully, my mom cooked something. I was planning on eating with him because he was starving himself to death.
"Sure! Let's go." Daniel spoke as he stood up. I also stood up and walked towards the kitchen. I downed the milk on one go then I walked towards my mom.
"Please, pack it in a box. I need to go with Daniel. Pack some extra for Elijah." I asked my mom in a low tone. She nodded her head as she quickly packed dinner for me and Elijah. I grabbed the pack and walked outside the house where Daniel was waiting for me in his car. I hopped into the car and Daniel drove off.
