THIRD PERSON'S POV:-
Daniel looked around the house to find anything he could to tell Elijah everything that happened. He found a bunch of files and documents in one of the rooms that screamed royalty. Daniel gathered all the files and documents. He handed all the documents to the other prisoners. Then he led them all out of the house. Daniel came back into the house. He looked around and found gasoline in the kitchen. Daniel sprayed gasoline all over the place so no one would ever get to use that place to hurt anyone ever again. With the help of all the other prisoners, they got a bunch of things in their hands. All the prisoners were creatures.
Daniel went back towards the prison to get Grey and Artemis out of that house. He saw Artemis helping Grey out of the chains he was tied with. "Let's go. We are ready. Can you walk, Grey?" Daniel spoke as he entered the cell Grey was in. He asked Grey a question and Grey growled angrily.
"Are you fucking kidding me. I can barely sit up. I haven't eaten anything in days." Grey growled angrily at Daniel as he felt like Daniel was making fun of Grey. It was not true, though. Daniel was worried about Grey. And as Artemis had told, they had to get out as soon as possible. So no one would get any of the creatures in their hands.
Artemis rolled her eyes and shook her head at their fight. It was not the time for them to be fighting. "I will carry him on my back. And we will stay together. I can't afford to leave anyone behind." Artemis spoke in a firm tone. She was determined. Grey's eyes widened as he saw the shadows of Alpha Adam in Artemis' face that day. Artemis stood up and went to the corner. She stripped her clothes to shift into Tracy.
Grey was thinking about the things his brother used to say. His brother always said that the pack would always be safe. Because there was a guardian angel watching over the pack. Grey couldn't help but wonder if his brother knew about Artemis. And he knew she would watch over the pack. "This girl! Someday, she will be a great alpha of her own pack. She surpassed Elijah today. I can see that in her eyes." Grey thought as he realised what Artemis just did for the pack. She saved everyone inside that house. And she did it on her own. Artemis had the power to even surpass her own Alpha.
Grey didn't notice when Artemis got back towards him. Daniel and Grey were shocked as they saw how small Tracy was. As compared to the wolves, coyotes were way smaller. But that was one of their advantages. Because of their smaller figure, they could move faster and quieter than the wolves.
Daniel and Grey were staring at Tracy with wide eyes. They were not sure if she was actually a wolf. Tracy growled to wake them both up. "Hurry up, Grey. Hop on! We need to go now." Daniel shook Grey and Grey nodded his head. Grey climbed on top of Tracy's back. Daniel grabbed Artemis' clothes. They got out of the house. Daniel set the house on fire and they all made their way back towards the pack. The prisoners followed Artemis because she saved their lives. She led everyone back to Grey's apartment building. She couldn't afford to let Grace know that the prisoners were free including Grey.
The house burnt down and Artemis was able to get everyone out in time. Once they were all out, Daniel turned to look at Artemis. "I should be taking these people to somewhere safe. We don't know whoever is coming after them. You should take Grey to Elijah." Daniel spoke in a low tone. He knew that Artemis also wouldn't want to delay it anymore. That's why he had asked her to take Grey to Elijah straight. Grey was the only one who could open Elijah's eyes.
Shaking her head, Tracy started running on the way to Elijah's apartment. She knew she could find Elijah at his apartment at that time. She couldn't wait to end the schemes Grace was playing against the pack. She wanted to be the one to end Grace. She wanted to punish her for hurting Elijah and playing with his emotions. She wanted to rip Grace's heart out of her chest to calm her anger.
---------------------------------------------------------
Grace was on her phone as she entered the elevator for Elijah's apartment. She was getting more and more anxious by every passing day. She wanted Grey either dead or out of America so she wouldn't be in trouble anymore. "Don Casper, when will you get back? We need to get him out. That bitch, my son's slut, is after me. I can't say when she would get a hint." Grave spoke in an anxious tone.
Don Casper had told her that he wouldn't be back very soon. That the deal with the other mafias was going to take a little longer. "Then you are supposed to keep an eye on her. You can't let her out of your sight. Make sure she is far away from our cell." Don Casper growled angrily at Grace as he was unable to control his anger anymore.
It was like Grace was doing it to piss Don Casper. Like she was doing it on purpose. He told her to manage everything behind his back. But all she cared about was to get rid of Grey. "I am trying my best. But as long as Grey is in America, we will have a sword hanging on our heads." Grace replied to Don Casper in a low tone.
She didn't want to anger him. After all, he was her master and she was supposed to do whatever he wanted her to do. Even if it was for her to open her legs for someone she didn't know. If that's what he wanted her to do. "Good! It will take me a few months to get back. The Werecoyote is worth more than the whole pack together." Don Casper spoke in a low tone.
That was the actual reason why it was taking him that long. Knowing that there was a Werecoyote alive, the underworld suddenly got excited to have it. Every pack, every gang, every mafia alpha wanted that Werecoyote. And they were raising the price to get the Werecoyote in their pack. Grace's eyes lit up as she heard Don Casper. "Really! Then how much I am going to get. After all, I was the one who told you that secret." Grave asked excitedly.
Money and power. Two things that were important for grace the most. She married alpha Adam for both powers and money. And she was back to destroy the pack for power and money as well. Don Casper growled angrily as he heard Grace's lustful question."You will get the usual, sixteen percent. Did you actually think I will give you more than you're worth? Don't forget I own your life." Don Casper yelled at Grace angrily as he heard her question.
Grace almost dropped her phone as she heard Don Casper yelling at her from the other side of the line. "I was just asking, Don. I didn't mean to upset you." Chuckling nervously, Grace replied to Don Casper.
She knew well not to ever make Don Casper angry at her. After she was kicked out of the pack by alpha Adam, Grace was a plaything in the hands of the wild packs. She was used as a slut by almost all the wild packs around Alpha Adam's pack. Until Don Casper found her and took her in. That's when she was free. "Good! Now be a good bitch and do whatever you are asked." Don Casper growled at her angrily.
Before Grace could answer him, he hung up. She was staring at the screen of the phone while gritting her teeth angrily. "That bastard! Let me gain my powers back and recreate this pack. I will get back to you as well, you asshole." Grace cursed under her breath. Things were getting out of her control. Yes, Don Casper never let anyone use Grace's body as a sex toy. But he was never respectful. He even made her lick his feet and he even made her lick his spit off of the ground if Grace ever made a mistake or went against Don Casper's orders.
Taking a deep breath, Grace calmed herself down. She couldn't afford to get caught. She couldn't afford to lose when she was just a few steps away from the dream she had when she married alpha Adam. The elevator reached Elijah's floor, Grace masked her face with a fake sweet smile that she used as a weapon against Elijah to fool him. The elevator door opened and Grace stepped out of the elevator.
As soon as Grace stepped out, she gasped loudly out of surprise. Elijah was standing in front of the elevator door. He had his arms wrapped above his chest. He was practically glaring at his mother. The veins on his temples were popping out. His jaw was clenching as well.
It was the very first time Grace was seeing her son angry. She had no idea how Elijah behaved whenever he was angry. She never got the chance to see her son angry. But she didn't know, he was worse than Alpha Adam. Grace had seen her husband angry. But he was never angry at her. He loved her way too much to be angry at her. Grace was practically unaware how dangerous the Wilsons could be whenever they were angry.
Grace gulped hard and for a few minutes, she almost forgot that carefree and loving mother act that she had been using to fool her son. Like his father, Elijah was a fool just like his father. He just never realised that he was exactly like his father when it came to the woman he loved. It took Grace a few minutes to get back to her act. She cupped Elijah's face and forced a fake smile on her face again. "Elijah! Oh my Goddess. You scared me. Why are you standing in front of the elevator like this? Is everything alright?" Grace asked Elijah as she stepped away from Elijah and tried to walk away.
For some reason, her son was scaring her a lot at that moment. She was not that scared the moment she came back. She felt she had to get away from him. "You tell me. Is there anything you need to tell me, mom?" Elijah growled at his mother angrily. It felt like Elijah was no longer buying her fake smile. That was not something Grace wanted. She had to keep that drama up until Don Casper would get back.
Hearing Elijah, Grace's smile fell again. She was sweating nervously while sniffing the air to find out if there was someone else in the apartment. All that she could smell was her son's scent and the lavender scent she had on her body and her clothes to fool everyone. "Wait, what? What are you talking about?" Grace asked Elijah after a minute. She tried to sound as surprised as possible.
Grace was nervous. And because of that nervousness, she was sweating. It was not good. She couldn't spray herself with lavender cologne in front of Elijah. He would get suspicious about her. She feared if Elijah would sense her wild wolf scent because she was swearing. Hearing Grace's question, Elijah growled again. A little loudly this time. "I am asking you if you are hiding something from me. Is there anything you want to say that you should have said to me by now." Elijah asked Grace angrily.
Grace was avoiding looking at her son. She couldn't let anyone destroy that plan she had been knitting since she found alpha Adam. She had failed more than just once. But she could no longer fail. She knew Don Casper would get rid of her the moment he would get Elijah. "You are being silly, my boy. There is nothing that you need to know. I told you everything about myself." Grace asked Elijah in a nervous tone.
Grace was fanning her face with her hands while trying to stay calm. She knew that Elijah would suspect something. She had a hunch that there was something wrong. She felt it the moment she stepped into Elijah's apartment. She couldn't put a finger at whatever was wrong, but she knew the air was thick. "And what about me, Grace? Did you tell me that you were the one who got me abducted and got locked up in that dungeon?" Grace heard a familiar voice that made her heart stop for a minute.
With wide eyes, Grace turned around to look at the person who owned that voice. Grace's eyes almost popped out of their sockets as she saw Grey walking towards her. Artemis was following after him. "You… h..h.. how di…d…did you g..get out?" Grace stuttered nervously as she saw her worst fear standing right in front of her, glaring straight into her eyes.
