It has been a few days since Diana's visit and since then, neither Louisa nor her father had laid hands on poor Bella. Diana had given them very stringent warnings and they knew it was better if they obeyed her.

　　Bella recovered speedily and resumed her duties as a servant. What kept baffling her was how nice the servants were to her. They behaved toward her with so much love and her life felt a tad better.

　　It had also been a few days since the incident at the castle. She had thought she would be able to get over it, but that wasn't the case. Everytime she closed her eyes for a second, the only thing that came to her mind was that moment of intimacy she had shared with the Alpha. It was an unforgettable experience and once in a while, she wished to experience it again, but she knew that would never transpire.

　　"Bella" She heard someone call and when she veered around to look, she saw one of the elderly maids walking towards her with a bright smile on her face.

　　"Yes Ma'am Chloe"

　　"Louisa would like some apple juice, can you go serve it to her?" The old woman asked politely.

　　"Okay Ma'am" She concurred as she hastily tied her apron around her waist and took out a tray from one If the shelves. She then walked to the fridge where she took out a jar of apple juice from it and placed on the tray. Before stepping out of the kitchen, she heaved a heavy sigh and made a covert prayer to the moon goddess, begging her to make sure nothing went wrong in there. She took brisk, calm steps to the dining where Lousia and her father were having breakfast.

　　"Mr. Donovan, an invitation letter from the castle" Another maid announced as she made her way to the living room and immediately, Louisa stopped eating and stretched her hand forward to receive the letter. Bella's heart began palpating in her chest as Louisa opened the letter to read, but she managed to stay cool and serve the drink. When she was done, she turned to head back to the kitchen, but Louisa's loud outcry made her spin back to look what happened.

　　She saw Louisa looking at the letter with blubbering eyes and her fingers appeared to be shaking. Fear jabbed in Bella's heart.

　　"Father" Lousia wailed. "Father, Alpha Achilles is organizing another ball, he wants to choose another bride for himself. Father I have been rejected." Louisa yelled loud and Bella tensed on the spot.

　　Beads of sweat rolled down her cheeks as she digested all what had just been said. Alpha Achilles canceling the wedding with Louisa was all her fault and she knew her life was done.

　　"You!" Louisa cried as she rose up from her seat and charged towards Bella like a wild dog. Bella's body shuddered as Lousia stepped before her and before she knew it, a hard smack landed on her left cheek, causing her to lose her equilibrium and fall to the ground. Louisa didn't stop. Out of animosity and rage, she beat up Bella, hitting her stomach over and ovef again and only stopped when she noticed that Bella had gone still on the floor, with her eyes closed.

　　"Bella" She called out, frightened as she nudged her with her shoe, but Bella didn't move. She seemed to have fainted.

　　"Bella!" Mr. Donovan called in fear as he approached the scene. The next thing they saw startled them to the core.

　　There was blood trickling down Bella's thighs.

　　Mr. Donovan was horrified at the situation. If Bella died in their house because of what Louisa had done to her, they will all be severely punished.

　　"Get Doctor Karl. Now! Hurry!" He ordered the maid as he lifted Bella in his arms and took her to her bedroom.

　　Bella could not die in his household. That would be the end for him!

　　"Father" Louisa called in tears as she followedxher father into Bella's bedroom."Father, what's going on? Why is she bleeding?" She asked confused.

　　"Louisa you hurt her too much. You sure hit her in a bad spot, that's why she's bleeding" Mr. Donovan explained as he put Bella to lie on her bed.

　　"But… but… I didn't hit her too much.. I just… I just…" Louisa faltered in fear.

　　"That explanation won't help either of us if she dies Louisa. Pray she doesn't die on us, before if she does, it's either we become rogues or get executed!" He explained and Loousia cupped her mouth with her palms to stop herself from screaming.

　　Just then, Doctor Karl walked with the maid that was asked to send for him.

　　"What is going on in here?" Doctor Karl as he rushed over to Bella and touched her forehead.

　　She was burning.

　　"I… I… I.. didn't mean to do it" Louisa cried as she stepped back for the doctor to do his work.

　　"I will need to be left alone with her" He requested and immediately, everyone else left the bedroom for the doctor to do his work.

　　"Is she going to be alright?" Lousia asked worriedly.

　　"I don't know Louisa, I don't know" Her father responded with an unsure tone as he walked helter-skelter around the corridor. Louisa couldn't help but burst into tears.

　　First, she had lost her chance of becoming Luna and now, she was at the brink of losing her beautiful and comfortable life, all because of her temper!

　　"Oh my God! What have I done?" She regretted.

　　Moments later, the room door opened up and Doctor Karl walked out looking confused and frightened at the same time. Both Louisa and her father rushed to him, panicking.

　　"Doctor, how is she?" Mr. Donovan inquired in fear.

　　"She's alive, she just needs to rest. I'll be back to check on her"

　　"Oh, thank goodness"

　　"No one should go in to check on her till I return. Is that clear?"

　　"Yes doctor' Mr. Donovan agreed.

　　"Thank you. I'll be on my way now." He said and left.

　　The moment doctor Karl got out of the Donovan mansion, he walked straight to the castle.

　　There was a serious issue pertaining to Bella that needed to be adressed a serious issue that would cause a d uproar when the other pack members get to find out, especially Alpha Achilles.

　　He didn't want to tell the Donovan's for fear of what they would do to poor Bella again.

　　Once he got to the castle, he asked a guard to send for the Alpha.

　　"Alpha Achilles will be down in a moment" The guard whom he had sent informed him and he nodded as he patiently waited for the Alpha to arrive.

　　What he just found out about Bella stunned him to the core because it was thought to be impossible!

　　"Doctor Karl!" He heard a female voice call and immediately he turned to see who it was. When he saw Diana, he immediately bowed down his head as a sign of honor.

　　"Good morning Princess Diana" He greeted formally.

　　"Good morning Doctor Karl, what brings you here so early in the morning?" Diana asked and Doctor Karl quietly lifted up his head up.

　　"Some matter that concerns Alpha Achilles"

　　"Oh… I see. Have you sent for him?"

　　"Ah, yes. The guard said he will be joining me shortly."

　　"I'm right here" Alpha Achilles ain'tfied as he walked into the living room, looking all bright and energetic as always. Doctor Karl gulped dryly as he bowed to great the Alpha.

　　"Please raise you head up" He persuaded and the Doctor did as told. "What brings you here so early this morning?"

　　"Alpha Achilles, I was called to the Donovan mansion to attend to one Miss Bella. She seems to be a servant there" He began explaining and instantly, Achilles' face darkened but Diana grew more interested.

　　"What about her?" Diana asked concerned.

　　"She was beaten up by her mistress to the point where she fainted… and she was bleeding too"

　　"Bleeding?" Achilles asked alarmed.

　　"Those wicked souls!" Diana cried.

　　"What caused her to bleed" Achilles asked aghast.

　　"Well, that's exactly what terrified me to the extend that I had to come here. I carried out multiple tests on her, but none if them proved positive, so I carried out a pregnancy test and it was positive. She is pregnant" The doctor declared and the entire living room went dead silent!

　　Even the servants who overheard paused on their tracks out of shock.

　　Both Achilles and Diana exchanged confused glances before turning to look at the Doctor again.

　　"No, no. That's impossible!" Achilles refuted flatly. "All the Shewolves of the wall street pack are infertile. They cannot procreate! They were cursed by my grandmother under Alpha D'argans influence. How dare you say…"

　　"It's not impossible if it's the will of the moon goddess!" Diana cut him off.

　　"Diana please don't tell me you believe this story"

　　"Not entirely! But he just might be right. I need to confirm this myself. Doctor Karl, take me there"

　　"Yes Princess"

　　"Achilles are you coming or not?" Diana asked.

　　"This is madness!" He grumbled.

　　"I take that as a no. Suit yourself!" she assumed as she followed the doctor out of the living room.

　　"Pregnant! How can she be pregnant?" Achilles asked rhetorically as he pursued them.

　　He was eager to go and see Bella for himself and have Diana confirm if she was pregnant or not.

　　If Bella was indeed pregnant, then he was doomed!
