"Achilles, I'm bleeding!"

　　Diana's words echoed in Achilles' mind as he ran all the way to her chambers with his heart drumming violently in his chest.

　　He knew his sister was not the type to make a mountain out of an ant hill. If Diana freaked out about something, then it meant something was indeed wrong and he was going over to check what was wrong.

　　When he got to her room door, he hastily creaked open the door and peeked in to scan the scenario before walking in, but to his greatest dismay, Diana was nowhere to be found. He carefully stepped into the bedroom and closed the door behind him before walking in.

　　"Diana" He called, still looking around the bedroom with the hopes that he would spot her sitting at a corner.

　　"I'm in the bathroom" her voice came through and Achilles headed over to the bathroom door which was closed. He stood by and shoved his hands in his pocket so as to stop himself from panicking too much.

　　"What's wrong baby?" He asked as calmly as he could.

　　"It's just really shocking and I don't know if you want to see it" Diana spoke with uncertainty in her voice and Achilles could feel how terrified she was from her hoarse voice. That only got him more agitated.

　　He wanted to know what was wrong with his sister already, but he knew he did not want to scare her either, so he had to remain calm.

　　"Of course baby, I want to see what happened. If you're bleeding that means you have hurt yourself and I want yo see it. Should I get the pack doctor?" Achilles asked.

　　"No, not at all. That will not be necessary" She said sniffling tears.

　　"Diana you are putting my ass on hot coals. Why don't you just let me in so I can figure out a way to sort this out!"

　　"There is no way to sort this out. This is not the kind of thing that has to be sorted out!!" She scolded from within and this time around she was crying.

　　"Alright then, that's my cue to come. I'm coming in" Achilles announced as he turned the doorknob and opened the door to the bathroom. Once he spotted Diana seated in the bathtub with her pyjamas still on, he rushed over to side and stooped down.

　　"What's wrong sweety? Where's the wound?" He asked worriedly as he began searching her hands and legs for any wounds.

　　"There's no... there wound Achilles" Diana reported amidst tears.

　　"But you said you were bleeding"

　　"Yes, I am, but it's not from a wound. Achilles, I got my period" She announced and out of shock, Achilles slumped on the floor and looked at with the most bewildered expression plastered on his face. Mouth and nostrils wide open and his eyebrows quizzically furrowed.

　　He averted his gaze from her face to the door and then back to her as he tried to understand what it was she was talking about.

　　"You..you" He stuttered. "You mean to tell me that you are on your period, as in ..."

　　"Yeah.. yeah. I woke up this morning and saw blood stains on the bed. I didn't bother too much about it, but right now, I am. The cramps have intensified and I'm still bleeding. I've got my period." She explained and Achilles calmly took her wet body into his arms as he gently stroked her hair.

　　"So, are you happy or sad?" He asked calmly.

　　"I don't know," She replied as she pouted her lips. "I mean ...I don't feel comfortable at all,but it's relieving to know that I have the chance if becoming a mother some day"

　　"A mother?" Achilles asked as he looked down at her, surprised. That was something that has never crossed his mind, Diana becoming a mother.

　　"Yeah, wouldn't you like to be an uncle someday?" She asked with a bright smile and Achilles chuckled in discomfort.

　　The topic was making him quite uncomfortable.

　　"I mean, you are my baby sister Diana. I would kill anyone who ever touches you, not to talk of getting you pregnant "

　　"What?" Diana asked withing fists of laughter as she disengaged herself from the hug and looked up into her brother's menacing glare. "Oh come on, seriously?"

　　"I'm very serious!"

　　"So you mean to tell me that even after all this is over and the curse is broken, you still won't let me be with my mate when I find him because you wouldn't want him to touch me?"

　　"Now that, will be different. At least I'll know that's someone sent to you by the moon goddess. But, he will still to pass some tests before doing anything stupid"

　　"Having sex with my mate is not stupid!" Diana defended and immediately, Achilles rose up from the floor and stood straight tall before her.

　　"No, no, no, I am not having this very underwhelming conversation with you. I'm not going to discuss sex with my baby sister, not happening!"

　　"Now you're acting like dad. Blowing things out of proportion"

　　"I am not! You know what? I'm out of here!" He said as he turned to walk away.

　　"Please tell doctor Karl to send me some sanitary pads" Diana pleaded.

　　"I am not going to pass that information. Do you want me to die of embarrassment! Send a maid!" Achilles objected and that got Diana rolling in fists of laughter.

　　Her brother was totally flushed at the moment and the words EMBARRASSMENT and FRUSTRATION were thoroughly carved on his forehead.

　　"Next time something like this happens, please call Alex and not me. Bloody hell!" He said as he turned to walk out of the bathroom but a voice in his head stopped him in his tracks.

　　"Alpha Achilles" The deep voice called and he immediately recognized it to be that of his Beta, Antonio.

　　"Yes Tony, do you need me?"

　　"Alpha, there is a pressing issue that needs to be attended to"

　　"I'd be delighted if you'd tell me right away" Achilles deciphered impatiently and a heavy sigh came from the Beta before he rode on.

　　"The pack members have been mindlinking about something which has to do with the she-wolves of the pack. Something strange" He explained further and immediately, Achilles understood what it was he was trying to talk about and he also understood that the Beta was rather embarrassed to call the actual name of the thing.

　　He chuckled in amusement as he gave Diana one brief glance before closing his eyes again to ride on with the mind link.

　　"Alpha, are you there?" Antonio asked.

　　"Yes Tony, I'm right here and I might know what it is you are talking about. Summon the pack members to the meeting hall immediately. I have a very important piece of information to pass to them"

　　"I will do just that Alpha"

　　"Thank you Tony" Then he blocked the mindlink and reverted around to look at Diana who was giving him the "spill-it-all" look.

　　"So?" She asked impatiently when her brother said nothing.

　　"Well, it seems this is a general phenomenon. Tony just reported to me that rest of the pack she-wolves got their periods too"

　　"This is a disaster!" Diana said laughing.

　　"I know, I know. They will obviously ask questions and I think now is the time for us to tell them all that is going on. I mean the pregnancy and the war that's coming. They are a huge part of this redemption so I think they deserve to know and take part in it as well" Achilles explained and Diana thoughtfully nodded her head.

　　"Are we also going to tell them about my powers "

　　"I don't see why we shouldn't. What do you think?"

　　"I agree with you. At least they will fear me more. I'm the great witch"

　　"Tss...just as power hungry as your grandmother! Get dressed, we will be addressing the subjects in an hour's time!"

　　"Yes sir!" Diana's loud voice came through, causing Achilles to chuckle hard.

　　"You talk to Alex about this while I talk to Bella"

　　"Understood"

　　"Good, see you in an hour's time then" He said as he exited the bathroom.
