The members of the wall street pack were overjoyed by the news of their pack redemption. By the time Alex was done explaining to them about Diana's magical powers, everyone was in a state of shock and disbelief. They had succeed in hiding Diana's powers for very long time, but at that moment, they thought it wise to let the subjects know, so they will understand that there was indeed a war to be fought.

　　Everyone was later dispersed, but a serious of confidentiality was given to them. They still needed to enact a strategy on how to go about the whole process. They didn't want knews flying out haphazardly because if that happened, there would more trouble than expected.

　　Bella, who had been sleeping ever since they got back from the meeting, shook when she felt painful cramps in her abdomen. The cramps were gentle at first so she decided to ignore it and sleep on, but when they became severe, she opened her eye sand rolled on the bed, clutching her stomach with her hands as she winced in pain.

　　She soon felt something moist on her pants and when she instantly rose on the bed to check what was going on. When she saw that she was bleeding, she began to panic and a loud scream escaped her lips as she clutched her stomach even more fiercely.

　　In less than no time, Achilles came rushing into the bedroom and over to her totally alarmed.

　　"Bella, what's going on?" He asked panicking and Bella pointed to the bed, sobbing.

　　"Blood?" Achilles whispered in panic the moment his eyes fell on the blood on bed. An unsettling feeling began welling inside him and his heart started pacing at an increasingly rapid pace.

　　He wanted to panic, but he saw that Bella was already doing enough for the two of them so he pulled him himself together and calmly sat by her side.

　　"Bella, Bella, look at me!" He instructed as he held her face in his palms and urged her to look at him. Bella looked at him with her face already drenched with tears.

　　"I'm scared" She cried breathlessly and Achilles could see that she was hyperventilating.

　　"Tony!" He called through mindlink.

　　"Alpha Achilles" Tony responded almost immediately.

　　"Get doctor Karl to my bedroom this istant. It's urgent!" He commanded.

　　"I will do just that Alpha" Tony agreed as he cut off the mindlink and proceeded in carrying out the instruction that had been given to him.

　　"Where does it hurt?" Achilles asked Bella who was sobbing and clutching her stomach with her hands.

　　"My tummy hurts" she cried hard and Achilles put her to lie down on the bed as he began to rub her stomach while impatiently waiting for the doctors to arrive.

　　"Achilles I don't want to lose this baby" Bella cried and held Achilles hands firmly.

　　"You are not going to lose our baby, I promise you. The doctor is on his way here, just don't close your eyes. Please don't close your eyes" Achilles cried as he gently stroked her hair.

　　In less than no time, the doctor showed up and headed straight to the bed where Bella was lying on. Achilles couldn't watch Bella in that state so he bolted out of the bedroom to let the doctor do his work.

　　He paced about the hallway, rubbing his palms together as all sorts of intrusive thoughts raided mind. He thought of the first day he saw Bella in the woods. He saved her from being attacked by rogues and remembered how he couldn't sleep for two whole days because he kept thinking about her.

　　He thought of how much his heart bled the day he chose Louisa as his bride and not Bella. On the night of that banquet, he wanted to choose Bella as his future Luna, but on a second thought, he decided to choose someone else.

　　He thought about that night Bella walked into his bedroom. How they had made love to each other the entire night. Even though he could never admit it to anyone, but it was true that that was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

　　His siblings thought that he did not like Bella and they were right. He did not like Bella;

　　He loved her!

　　He loved her from the first day he set his eyes on her in those woods. That night, he just wanted to take her to the castle and marry, but he knew he could not.

　　There was one special reason why Achilles did not want to marry Bella. It wasn't not because she has no knowledge of leadership, it wasn't because she was a slave, it was because he scared that when the war would be finally over and the curse is broken, he would find his true mate, same as Bella and that would mean they have to separate.

　　He had no idea how the whole mate bond issue operated, but one thing he knew was that he would get terribly heartbroken if he married Bella and a time comes when he has to give her to someone else.

　　He did not want that to happen, that's why he kept refusing to marry Bella.

　　He wanted the war to be over first so that things would become clear and he prayed in his heart that once all that happened, Bella would be his mate, because he really did love her and he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life.

　　"Achilles' ' He heard a voice call and when he turned, he saw Diana and Alex walking towards him with worried looks on.

　　"Tony told me you summoned the pack doctor. How is Bella?" Alex asked concerned and Achilles stopped pacing about and turned to address them.

　　"The doctor is still working on her." Achilles replied weakly.

　　"What happened to her?"

　　"I heard her scream so I came to check and the and then I saw that she was bleeding and clutching her stomach. She was in pain and she said she didn't want to lose the baby" Achilles explained breathlessly and his siblings could tell from his voice that he was really worried about Bella and their unborn child. "She was in pain and there was nothing I could do to help her," he lamented . Diana walked over to him and took his big hands in hers and kissed them.

　　"I know you are worried, but don't beat yourself up for this. You helped her but calling the doctor. Everything is going to be alright"

　　"But she was bleeding." He lamented all the more. "it's not normal for her to bleed. What if" His sentence was cut short by the sound of the room door opening up. All three siblings turned around to look at the doctor who just stepped out of the door with expectant looks on their faces.

　　"Doctor Karl, how are they doing?" Achilles asked first.

　　"Mother and child are doing just fine, but much care needs to be taken else"

　　"Else what?" Achilles asked impatiently and the doctor swallowed dryly.

　　He wanted to say that she would lose the child, but the look in his Alpha's eyes made him swallow his words and he thought of another way to put it.

　　"Well it seems she has been stressed and so she has developed some mild complications that could cause some trouble in the future if great care is not taken. She needs keen attention and less stress." The doctor explained in fear and Achilles looked at both his siblings who looked just as terrified as he was before turning to look at the doctor again.

　　"So, she doesn't have to be stressed up at all, is that?"

　　"Yeah, physically, psychologically, emotionally"

　　"Okay. So can we go in and see her now?"

　　"Yes you can, but I gave her some sedatives, so right now she is fast asleep"

　　"Is that all?"

　　"For now, yes, I will come back later today to check on her"

　　"Thank you very much, doctor Karl"

　　"You are welcome Alpha Achilles. I will take my leave now." The doctor said as he excused himself.

　　Achilles hastily opened the door and stepped in, but the moment he spotted Bella sleeping peacefully on the bed, he paused on his tracks and just kept looking at her.

　　"Nothing can happen to either of them" Achilles spoke once he heard his sibling walk into the bedroom.

　　"Nothing will happen to them," Diana assured him.

　　"I will go" he turned to face them and swallowed dryly. "I will go crazy I will lose my damn mine if anything happens to either of them. I will die." He stressed and both Diana and Alex looked at him shocked to the core. They were shocked at how terrified he looked about the idea of him losing Bella or the child.

　　They thought he had no interest in her, but that declaration he just made them understand that there was much more going on than they knew.

　　Diana and Alex exchanged perplexed glaces before turning to look at Achilles who had a poker face and stoic expression.

　　"Nothing is going to happen to either of them" Diana assured him yet again.

　　"I had no idea you cared so much for Bella. You are almost crying right now" Alex teased and Achilles shot him a deadly gaze, but he didn't flinch. Instead, he smiled as he kept looking at his stubborn little brother.

　　"You have no idea what I feel in my heart or what is running on my mind all the time Alex, so you don't have the right to judge me" Achilles retorted and Diana quickly stood between them.

　　She knew that was a fight emanating and if she did not intervene at that moment, they were going to get into a fist fight right in the bedroom, caring less about the fact that there was a pregnant woman sleeping just a few meters away.

　　"If you two want to fight, don't do it in here. Bella is asleep, are least respect that fact." Diana caustioned and Achilles stepped away from both of them. "All you two ever do is fight in her presence, maybe that's what is getting her so worked up, maybe that's what is causing her all the stress the doctor spoke about. Bella is in a very delicate condition right now and you two are important in her life, can you two refrain from fighting in her presence, please?" Diana pleaded looking from one brother to the other and they both went both as they gaze at opposite walls.

　　"I'm just really shocked that he cares so much about her, that's all" Alex spoke, nevertheless.

　　"Alex" Diana cautioned as she gave home scornful look.

　　"The girl is pregnant with my child it's only normal for me to be concerned about her. What is wrong with you?" Achilles asked annoyed and his brother turned to face him once more.

　　"If you so much care for get, then marry her. Marry her Achilles and I will be convinced that you truly care for her!"

　　"I am not going to marry Bella!" Achilles denied flatly and that further enraged Alex.

　　"Achilles I'm not bluffing about this issue"

　　"And neither am I! I care for Bella and I don't care whether you believed me or no. I am not going to give into your wimps because I want to prove myself to you because I don't have to. I am not going to marry Bella and that is final!" He informed them as he stormed out of the bedroom.

　　Diana looked up at Alex who was blinking anger.

　　"Will you just let him be?"

　　"No I will not. That moron needs to learn to take responsibility for his actions, he has to learn to stop acting like a spoiled brat! Achilles!" He called as he walked out of the bedroom to follow Achilles.

　　Diana was tired of witnessing their drama so she quietly closed the door and went to sit beside Bella on the bed.

　　She knew her two brothers more than they knew themselves.

　　Achilles was a man of his word, if he decided that he won't do something, nothing in the world would make him do that thing. If he has decided not to marry Bella, then he will not marry her no matter what anyone does.

　　Alex however, was the most persuasive person in the entire world. He would go at extreme lengths just to get someone to do something. He would go to whatever lengths just to make sure Achilles marries Bella.

　　"It's about time I got involved in this matter" She whispered to herself as she looked at Bella.

　　She was going to find away to deal with this issue and Achilles wouldn't even see it coming!
