It was day one of Alex's mission and he wanted to start with something really mind wrecking. It was almost time for breakfast, but he decided that he would not eat breakfast with his brother and sister as usual. Instead, he planned on going to the kitchen and personally making breakfast for Bella since she always ate breakfast later than everyone.

　　When he walked into the kitchen, all the cooks were stunned to him especially as he had on an apron.

　　"Alpha Alex" The chief cook who had summoned a great deal of couragee, called.

　　"Yes."

　　"It's really inappropriate for you to be in here, if you need anything, I would gladly do it and have it served for you in your chambers." The cook explained and Alex smiled.

　　"Thank you very much, but today, I will like to make something special for someone special. I need you to tell me what you usually make for Miss Bella for breakfast and direct me on how to make it. I want to do it myself"

　　"Oh… okay then. I will be honored to assist you"

　　"Thank you"

　　And that was how Alex made Bella's breakfast.

　　Meanwhile, Achilles and Diana were seated at the dinning eating breakfast and Achilles kept wondering why Alex had not showed up, so he finally decided to ask Diana.

　　"By any chance did Alex tell you why he could not make it for breakfast?" He asked politely.

　　"Hmmm" Diana exclaimed as she put her cutleries down and looked at him.

　　"Well, he just told me he wanted to prepare something special for someone special" She saidd him, hiding a lot of details.

　　Before Alex left for the kitchen, he had mindlinked her about his entire plan and she had confirmed that it's way great. She did not want to ruin their plan of getting Achilles jealous and enraged by telling him everything at that moment.

　　"Something special for someone special" Achilles reiterated and scoffed. "Is he seeing someone?" He asked still not sparing Bella a glance.

　　"Who knows? Maybe he is" Diana said and shrugged and Achilles just kept smiling.

　　If Alex was seeing someone, then that was a good thing for him because he would not have to worry about Alex taking her away from him.

　　"So, how are you and Bella?" Diana asked out of nowhere and that got Achilles' attention. For the first time, he looked up at her and when he saw the wide smile that was on her face,he shook his head and looked back at his plate.

　　"What about us?"

　　"You two seem close these days" She added and Achilles looked up at her again as he tried to figure where she was driving to with her questions.

　　"Close? I don't understand"

　　"Well… you are always talking about Bella, you don't seem to want to be away from her for long and you panic at the slightest inconvenience she faces. You act like you are smitten by her" Diana expatiated and Achilles slammed his cutleries on his plate and looked up at her.

　　She not flinch or look scared, instead, she kept eating her food with a smile on as if she had said nothing.

　　"First, I am not always talking about Bella, second, I can handle being away from her for long, third, I don't panic as much as you make it sound. I only panic when something life threatening happens to her and the baby and the last, but not the least, I am not smitten by Bella. How many times will I tell you this?" He asked in resentment and Diana calmly placed her cutleries on her plate as well and looked up at, making sure to lock her eyes in his dark brown eyes that reflected hers. She smacked her lips as she gently popped her knuckles.

　　"You are not smitten by her, aye?" She asked still looking deep into her brother's eyes and when he had had enough, he looked away.

　　"Yes, I am not!" He insisted and Bella chuckled.

　　"We will see about that" She whispered to herself as she picked up her cutleries to ride on with her meal.

　　"Excuse me, I would like to know what you just murmured to yourself!"

　　"If was meant for my ears only" She told him clearly and Achilles calmly shook his head as he pushed his chair backwards to ride up from it.

　　"I'll be leaving now" He declared and Bella nodded her head, not looking at him.

　　He was about to step out of the dinning when he saw Alex coming out from the kitchen with a tray of food in his hand.

　　"Alex" He called and Alex stopped on his tracks and turned to look at him.

　　"Hey bro. Good morning" He greeted with a wide grin and Achilles nodded.

　　"Good morning. I asked about you a while ago and Diana told me you were preparing something special for someone special. I can see you are done." He explained and Alex's grin widened the more.

　　"Ah yeah. I decided to take out some time today to make her favorite breakfast."

　　"It's a girl!"

　　"Of course it is. I won't go the extra mile for a guy. Come on"

　　"Nice… good luck with her" Achilles said as he turned to walk away.

　　"Umm… Diana, any idea if Bella is awake already?" Alex asked loudly and when Achilles heard Bella's name cone out from Alex's mouth, he paused on his tracks and spun around to face his siblings. Alex was still standing in the dinning with the tray of food in his hand and that's when realization hit him.

　　The tray contained scrambled eggs, tunas, milk amongst other things.

　　That was Bella's favorite breakfast.

　　That special girl Alex spoke about was Bella.

　　"You scheming bastard! The special girl you are talking about is Bella!" He pointed out as he walked towards his siblings. Alex just stayed on the spot and kept smiling.

　　"You finally figured"

　　"Bella is still asleep, leave her be!" Achilles cautioned.

　　"No she isn't, I just mindlinked her, she's awake and hungry. Go on Alex, she is waiting for you" Dina urged Alex and he calmly walked out of the dinning and began taking the stairs leading to Bella's bedroom.

　　Achilles was overwhelmed with anger. He looked from Alex to Diana and wondered whether to abandon everything he had to do that morning and go be with Bella.

　　"Diana, why are you doing this?" He asked with a sorrowful that made Diana's stomach churn out of guilt, but she managed to ignore the feeling and smile up at him.

　　"It's just a harmless breakfast, Achilles. It's nothing for you to be alrmed about"

　　"She has servants to do that"

　　"I know. Look, I have no idea why Alex did that, but it isn't something serious. He just cares for her like we do. That's all"

　　"You don't understand do you?" Achilles asked shaking his head.

　　"Understand what?" Diana asked faking a confused look.

　　She very well knew what he was talking about.

　　"It's alright. You won't understand anyway" He told her as he turned around and walked away with a heavy heart.

　　When he was out of sight, Diana slammed her cutleries on her plate and let it a heavy sigh she didn't even know she was holding. She rubbed her forehead with her fingers as she tried to calm her nerves.

　　She hated the pain she saw on Achilles' face, but she needed to do that to bring him to his senses.

　　Hours passed and Achilles worked as he should, but he kept thinking of what had happened that morning. The way his soul walked out of his body when he realized that the special girl Alex had referred to all along was Bella.

　　He could only imagine the worse things happening. He had no idea what game Alex was playing at, but what he knew was that he did not like it.

　　Ever since Alex made known his intentions to him, he had never felt comfortable seeing him around Bella. He knew his brother was a great charmer and that Bella could fall for him anytime.

　　When he could not take it anymore, he slammed the pen in his hand on the table and rise up from his office chair. He put on his overall, stormed out of the office and headed straight the east wing were Bella's bedroom was located.

　　When he got to the door, he took in a deep breath and knocked at it. As he waited for her response, he made a prayer in his heart, begging the moon goddess for him not to find Alex in the bedroom because he wasn't sure to stop himself from punching him if he did. A few moments later, the door was opened by Bella and he frowned at her.

　　"What?" Bella asked frightened.

　　"Bella, you don't just open the door without asking who's there. What if it was someone with the intention of hurting you"

　　"But isn't" Bella responded in a bored tine as she stepped away from the door, creating space for him to go in.

　　Without any hesitation, he quietly stepped into the room, gawking around for any sign of Alex and a wave of relief washed through him when he did not see him in the bedroom.

　　"I thought Alex was in there" He asked as he walked further into the bedroom.

　　Bella quietly closed the door and went over to the the bed.

　　"He left a while ago" She replied as she sat on the bed. "He served me breakfast this morning " She reported with a sweet smile and Achilles' neck burned in anger.

　　"Of course he did!" He murmured to himself.

　　"Did you say something?" Bella asked looked at him and he hastliy shook his head and smiled at her.

　　"No, did not. I… i… I came to check you, to see how you are holding up."

　　"I'm holding up just well, thank you"

　　"Good, so, did you enjoy breakfast?"

　　"Yes I did. Best one ever. Alex told me some really hilarious stories about his childhood as I ate. I choked on my meal uncountable times" she said chuckling and Achilles forced a smile so things wouldn't seem awkward, but he was dying within.

　　The way Bella spoke about his brother made him jealous.

　　She wanted her to talk about him like that and not Alex.

　　"You seem to enjoy his conpany very much" Achilles said sadly and Bella nodded.

　　"Yeah, I do. I mean, Alex has such great sense of humour. He knows how to say the right things at the right time. He's quite a charmer" She explained dreamily and Achilles swallowed hard as he took out his hands from his trouser pockets and sat by her side on the bed.

　　"He's a charmer" he repeated in a calm voice and Bella nodded her head, but not daring to meet his menacing gaze.

　　"So, he's charmed you" He assumed and Bella stopped smiling and gave him a confused look.

　　"No, I don't mean it like that. I mean he's such a cool person to converse with, that's all"

　　"And I'm not a cool person to converse, aye?" He asked with a raised brow.

　　"I did not say that. You and Alex are two different worlds. Alex is free spirited, he says a lot of things in a short time and he knows how to make me laugh. You, however, don't talk often and even when you talk, you go straight to the point. Not that it matters, but you don't make me laugh as much as Alex does. You are much more conserved and that's okay. You are charming, way more than Alex and if I have been charmed, then it's by you, not Alex." She explained and Achilles fought

　　his urge to blush.

　　"Have I?" He asked with a tiny smile and Bella nodded.

　　"Yes you have and I love spending time with you, especially the times when you cuddle me in your big arms, I feel like nothing in the world can hurt me." She added and Achilles felt like he was going to burst with joy and pride.

　　"Well, nothing in the world can hurt you when you are my arms. I would die before I let anything happen to you, and I mean it." He confessed and Bella shyly played with her fingers.

　　An awkward silence filled the room and when he had had enough, he rose from the bed and looked down at Bella.

　　"How does cuddling all night today sound?" He asked and Bella broke into a wide smile.

　　"It sounds fantastic"

　　"Good then, see you at seven pm"

　　Then he walked out of the room.

　　He was assured that Bella liked him, what he needed to do was stop Alex from getting close to her and he was going to do that.
