Alex kept looking at the time on his wrist watch with a vicious smirk plastered at the side of his lips. He had finally gotten the reaction he wanted to get from Achilles that morning.

　　He had known the news of him taking Bella out for a walk was not going to sound very pleasant to Achilles, but he decided to tell him anyway, because he wanted Achilles to get jealous.

　　The night before, Diana told had him she spoke with Achilles and found out that he was in love with Bella, but there was something stopping him from wanting to be with her and that was the thing they both wanted to get out of Achilles.

　　"You seem very impatient" Diana commented as she walked into the bedroom. Alex turned to face her with a smile forming on his face.

　　"I know for sure that Achilles will meet up with us one way or the other during that walk. The look he had on when I told him I will be taking Bella out for a walk earlier today made me understand that he was jealous. I'd be damned if today goes by with me getting a punch from him" Alex explained and chuckled and Diana joined him.

　　"Well, he wouldn't dare pick up a fight with you in Bella's presence" She pointed out and Alex noodded his head.

　　"Well, Bella is all set. All you have to do is go and take her from her bedroom and I wish you both a tremendous walk, but don't stress her too much. I know Bella, she's not going to tell you when she's exhausted because she's scared, so it's up to you to figure that out and bring her back home. Remember her condition "

　　"I do remember and not to worry, I'm going to bring her back home safe and sound." He promised.

　　"Good. I guess you should be on your way"

　　"See you later" He kissed her forehead and exited the bedroom.

　　Diana heaved out a heavy sigh and shook her head.

　　"Achilles, I'm sorry for doing this to you, but you have left me no choice. Your secretive nature will not let you tell me what I need to know, so I have to find out on my own, no matter the means. I only hope you can forgive me" She murmured to herself as she exited the bedroom.

　　When Alex arrived at Bella's room door, he gave a gentle knock on it and took a step behind to wait for Bella to open up. He shoved both hands in his pocket and looked accross the hallway that lead to the West wing. That was where Achilles' bedroom and office were located. From his spot, he could here his brother talking in his office with other people and he understood that he was in a meeting with the pack leaders.

　　That would've been him if he had not relinquished his rights as Alpha to Achilles.

　　Sometimes, he wondered if he would've been with Bella if he was still Alpha. Maybe if he was Alpha, the set up would've been between him and Bella and she would've been carrying his child, not Achilles'. If that was the case, then he would not have hesitated to marry Bella, like Achilles was doing.

　　Bella was the prettiest girl in the Pack and she was as kind as an angel. She would make a perfect Luna. If only Achilles could see that.

　　"That spoiled brat never knows what he wants." he whispered bitterly, but adjusted his countenance when he heard the door creak open.

　　A gracious smile formed on his face when the door opened up and revealed Bella's beautiful face. He looked down from her hair to toe and he was impressed by her looks. Diana had done a good job getting her all glamed up.

　　"Alex" Bella called as she smiled.

　　"Wow!" Alex exclaimed as he kept ogling at her. "I must confess that you look ravishing! That dress should thank you for wearing it" He complimented in the most seductive tone and Bella blushed so hard that her cheeks turned oxblood.

　　"Diana did all this. She said you wanted to take me out for a walk"

　　"Yes, I do. If you are all set, we can get going right now" He informed her and she quickly nodded her head as she stepped out of the bedroom, making sure to close the door behind her.

　　"Shall we?" Alex asked, holding out his arm. Bella nodded like a lizard and wrapped her hands in his little arms. As they walked down the hallway, she peeked over at the West Wing pack for any sign of Achilles.

　　For some unknown reasons, she was dissapointed that she had not seen him since the day began.

　　"Before you all grounded me, this used to be my favorite outdoor spot" Bella commented.

　　Alex had taken her to the castle garden and that had been Diana's idea. She had told him Bella loved going to the garden to admire the flowers and sometimes watch the sunset.

　　"You aren't grounded Bella. We just want you staying indoors for your own security. There are bad guys out there ready to harm you anytime anywhere, that's why we need to be vigilant"

　　"I understand and I thank you very much for bringing me out to day. I thought I was going to go crazy staying in my room all day"

　　"Well, now that I know you like stuff like this, henceforth, I will make sure to take you out more often."

　　"Then that will be great."

　　"You mentioned this garden is your favorite outdoor spot in this castle. Tell me you favorite indoor spot"

　　"Achilles' library " She announced enthusiastically as she stopped on her tracks and looked up at him. "He's got a whole world of books in there and I like to read, so I used to go in there and read."

　　"Does he know?"

　　"No, I'm not sure. I always made sure he did not catch me."

　　"Well, I'm sorry to burst your bubble honey, but to tell you what, I can bet my life that Achilles knows you always go into his library and touch his stuff."

　　"No he doesn't, I always make sure it to leave any trace." She insisted and Alex Cally shook his head.

　　"Well, hear it from me now; Even if a ghost goes into Achilles' library in his absence and walks out, Achilles will know someone was there the moment he gets into the room. He is that sensitive and observant. He knows you always go into his library and he has not addressed the issue because he is okay with it." He further explained and Bella stood glued to her spot with her eyes and mouth wide open.

　　She was totally awestrucken by all that Alex had just said. She felt a bit embarrassed too when she thought of all the times she hid books when Achilles walked into her bedroom.

　　He knew she had then, but he pretended like he did not. At that moment, she wanted the ground to open up and swallow her because she could no longer contain the shock and embarrassment.

　　"Close your mouth Bella, you might swallow a fly." Alex cautioned and she immediately close her mouth shut.

　　Without saying a word, she walked over to one of the built chairs and carefully sat on it to rest her legs.

　　"Alex, can I ask you a question?" She asked looking up at Alex and he nodded his head.

　　"Yeah, go on. I'm all ears"

　　"Why do you think Achilles dislikes me?" She asked and the question completely threw Alex off guard. He tilted his head to one side and gave her a queer look.

　　"You think Ace dislikes you" He questioned and Bella quietly nodded her head.

　　He let out a soft chuckle and took a seat by her side.

　　"What makes you say that?"

　　"Well…" She slurred as she turned to face him. "I know that he has been nice to me lately, but I cannot help but think that he's only doing that for the baby. I think, personally, he does not like me. I just don't know why" She explained and Alex let out a heavy sigh as he leaned backwards.

　　"Well, I won't say I know why he dislikes you, if at all he does. I mean, there's nothing to dislike about you. You are such a beautiful soul and the only thing anyone should do is love you. If my brother dislikes you, then I guess he has his personal reasons." Alex explained and Bella sadly bowed her head and played with her fingers.

　　"I see…"

　　"What about you? Do you dislike him?" He asked and Bella shook her head.

　　"I don't"

　　"So, that means you like him"

　　"Yes, I do like him"

　　"Not like as like, I mean you have feelings for him." He expatiated and that caused Bella to look up at him.

　　"Feelings? For Achilles?" She asked aghast and Alex nodded his head. "Well, we are connected. I mean, I'm carrying his child. I don't know if this means I have feelings for him, but my heart skips a beat everytime I hear his voice. I like it when he cuddles me, I like it when he treats me nice and says sweet things to me. I always look forward to seeing him and I get really dissapointed when he doesn't come to see me all day, like today. I… I… just like being around him. He makes me happy." She explained sincerely as she kept her gaze fixed on the hibiscus flowers a few meters away from her.

　　Alex, on the other hand felt like his entire world was crashing down on him. That was not the anwser he was wanted to get from her. All what Bella had just said made him understand that she was in love in Achilles and to say he was jealous was an understatement.

　　He was enraged.

　　"Well…" he finally spoke out. "That seems to me like you have feelings for him"

　　"As in, I'm in love with him?" She asked and Alex quietly nodded his head. "Is that safe?" Bella asked unsure and Alex shrugged his shoulders.

　　"Time will tell"

　　"Bella!" Deep familiar voice called, causing Bella to spin around to look.

　　He heart fell into her abdomen when she saw a very furious looking Achilles marching towards them.

　　"Achilles" She called in surprise as he stood before her.

　　"The walk is over!" He declared as he swept her into he arms and began walking away, leaving Alex gawking at them with anger blazing in his eyes.
