"Achilles!" Bella whispered in a harsh tone as he kept walking on. He had on a frown that scared her, but what she was worried about the most was the fact that servants and guards were staring at them as Achilles walked by with her in his arms.

　　When she couldn't take it anymore, she buried her face in his arms and closed her eyes so she would not meet the judgemental stares of the servants anymore.

　　She had mixed feelings about the entire situation. Achilles had rudely interrupted the very fruitful conversation she was having with Alex and she was very angry at him for doing that, but on the other hand, she was happy to see him.

　　He had not showed up to check on her entire day and she was already getting depressed. Now that she was in his arms, she loved it.

　　Once Achilles finished ascending the staircase, she expected him to take the turn that lead to the East wing where her bedroom was located, but he did not. He took the West wing that lead to his bedroom and at that moment, Bella was alarmed. She looked up at his face, but the menacing frown he had on killed her courage. The question she wanted to ask him flew out of her mind and like the obedient girl she was, she curled back into his arms and stayed still.

　　When Achilles arrived at his room door, the guard standing by it pushed the door open and he got in. At that moment, Bella had shut her eyes tight and pretended to i be asleep.

　　Soon, she felt Achiles lowering her to bed and as he did that, she still did not open her eyes. she had no idea how she was going to behave or talk to him in that bedroom, while sitting on the same bed where she had lost her virginity to him. Everything felt so awkward at the moment.

　　"Bella stop pretending to be asleep, I can see your eyelids blinking" Achilles pointed out and immediately, Bella opened up her eyes and sat upright on the bed.

　　"What is the meaning of all this?" She asked slightly infuriated.

　　"What are you talking about?" Achilles inquired, taking off his overall. He walked into his closet where he tossed it on a nearby couch and walked back out to go meet Bella again. "You were saying?"

　　"First, you rudely cut short my walk with Alex and now, you have brought me into your bedroom for reasons I do not know. What is wrong with you?" She asked agitated and Achilles calmly sat by her side.

　　"I don't understand what you mean by me cutting short your walk with Alex, when I got to that garden, you two were seated on a chair. How was that walking?" He asked in a very calm tone.

　　"Walking is the general term for the activity. I only sat down because I was tired and I needed to rest. That's why Alex joined me." Bella further explained, but Achilles was uninterested in all that detail.

　　"You were tired! Exactly the reason why you should thank me for bringing you back home, not scolding at me!"

　　"The walk wasn't over!" She scolded at the top of her voice out of anger. Achilles gave her a surprised look before she understood that what she had done was wrong.

　　She quickly closed get mouth with her hands and bowed her head down as a sign of remorse for scolding an Alpha.

　　"Tell me, were you enjoying yourself out there?" He asked calmly and Bella instantly raised her head up to look at him.

　　"Yes, I was" She whispered.

　　"Do you want me to take you back to meet him?" He asked again and Bella blinked multiple times as she tried to understand what he was talking about.

　　"What?"

　　"I believe you heard me clearly" He said looking at her straight in the eyes.

　　"I… I…" She stuttered. "Do you always have to be this strange and intimidating?" She asked once she was fed up.

　　"I'm asking you very simple questions that require modest answers. I see nothing strange and intimidating about that" He pointed out and Bella breathed out hard. "I'm still waiting for your response though"

　　"Excuse me, what was the question again?"

　　"Do you want me to take you to meet Alex so you two can continue with your walk?" He asked again and Bella could sense a hint of anger in his voice.

　　"No" she finally denied. "That doesn't mean I wasn't having a good time out there. I just want to stay here."

　　"Stay here?" Achilles asked with a raised brow.

　　"Not in your bedroom, I want to go to my bedroom " Bella rectified.

　　"Why don't you want to stay here? It's more comfortable and it's closer to the library. I know you love reading books and I also know you used to sneak into my library and steal a book or two"

　　"I didn't steal, I borrowed and always returned them"

　　"Borrowing without the owner's consent. That sounds like theft to me"

　　"Will you just stop already?" Bella cried as she gave him a gentle whack on the arm. " I don't want to stay in here because this room triggers memories I do not like"

　　"Memories like?"

　　"Achilles you very well know what I'm talking about. I'm not going to say it with my mouth" She told him clearly and he looked at her in the same intimidating manner she did not like.

　　"It hurts me to know that you don't like the memory of what happened between us the last time you were in here. I, on the other hand, treasure that moment"

　　"Achilles…" Bella whispered as she looked up at him. "Why do you always turn my words against me?"

　　"Maybe if you start saying the right things, I won't turn your words against you anymore" he asserted in a husky voice as he kept staring down at her lips.

　　He badly wanted to kiss her, to make love to her and to make her understand that he was in love with her.

　　He wanted to marry her, he wanted to make her his wife and Luna. He wanted the world to know she was his and his alone!

　　"I waited for you to come check on me all morning, but you did not" Bella changed the topic.

　　"I've been busy"

　　"Of course you have. All you do is lock me up in my bedroom. At least Alex knows I need to go out once in a while. He took me out for a walk, that's something you havee never done" She deciphered in resentment and Achilles swallowed the needles in his throat.

　　He looked away from her gaze and blinked his eyes hard to get rid of the tears that were threatening to escape themselves.

　　She was beginingb to like Alex and he could feel it.

　　"Bella" he called and sniffled "I…I… come on Bella, do you always have to strike that nerve?" He asked as he looked at her straight into her eye balls. "I know my brother is way more charming than I am and he knows how to do all the sweet gestures, but I'm trying, I really I'm trying to make you notice me too. Why…"

　　"I didn't mean it that way." Bella cut him off when she noticed where he was driving at. "I was just angry that you did not come to see me. When Diana first told me I would be going out for a walk, I was excited cuz I thought it would be with you, but then she told me Alex was the one taking me and I didn't know how to feel. But I was happy that I would at least leave my bedroom " She explained sincerely.

　　Achilles held her little hands in his and kissed them with all his might before looking at her again.

　　"Henceforth, I will take you out for walks. I promise"

　　"Promise?"

　　"Yes Bella, I promise." He promised with alll his heart and Bella smiled from molar to molar. "Is there anything you need right now?"

　　"I'm hungry" She cried with a puppy face that caused Achilles to burst into laughter.

　　"I'll just get the maids to serve us lunch in here."

　　"Okay"

　　"I'll be right back" He said and planted a delicate kiss on her forehead before heading out of the bedroom to get the maids.

　　The joy he felt in his heart at that moment was inexplicable.
