CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE.

Alpha D'argan was waiting patiently for results. He had ordered the rogue King to send men to the Wall Street Pack that would kidnap Bella and bring to him.

His initial plan was to kill her the moment she arrived, but Calum told him that would not be advisable. The curse had to be broken, not worsened.

He planned that once Bella alived, he would drink her blood and have her locked up in the castle until she had the child and after that, he would kill them both, regardless of what anyone thought or the fact that they were his very own flesh and blood.

He cared less about having a family.

The only thing he wanted in that world was power and authority. Ever since he was a young man, he had wanted to be the kind of Alpha who was feared by every other Alpha. A ruthless and merciless Alpha and he had gone to unbelievable heights just to achieve that.

He had ruled for fifteen years. He had terrorized other packs for just fiteen years and that was not enough for him. He wanted more time to get more. To experience more power and authority, he was not going to let two children decide his destiny!

"Alpha D'argan." His Beta called as he walked into his office.

"What do you want?" He asked rudely and the Beta immediately stopped on his tracks.

"The Wizard is here to see you." The Beta announced and he immediately sat upright in his office chair. If the wizard was there, it meant there was important information that he wanted to disclose to him. He could only pray and hope that whatever it was, it was something that would favor him.

Lately, he had been receiving a lot of bad news and he was exhausted!

"Bring him to me." He ordered.

"Yes, Alpha." The Beta agreed with a bow before he turned to exit the office.

Alpha D'argan heaved out a heavy sigh and leaned backwards on the chair and began rocking it back and forth as he tried to imagine what Calum wanted to tell him.

Did he get more news from the ancestors?

Did he succeed in breaking the boundary spell?

If that was the case then, that would be good news because he would personally barge into the Wall Street Pack and take Bella right before the eyes of their Alpha.

"You seem to always forget that those people have a powerful witch protecting them. The moment you step in there, she will use her powers against you and you will be defenseless!" Calum informed as he read Alpha D'argan's thoughts.

Alpha D'argan instantly rose from the chair and gave the wizard a piercing gaze as he walked over to him.

"How did you know that's what I was thinking?"

"Your thoughts were hovering all over the place, it was hard not to notice and catch them." He replied casually and Alpha D'argan let out a soft sigh and took his seat.

  "What brings you here?"

"You are sent those rogues on a suicide mission!" He reprimanded and Alpha D'argan gave him a confused stare.

  "I don't understand."

"You are forgetting to know that those rogues have completely different smells from the members of the Wall Street Pack. Their soldiers on patrol will immediately fish them out the moment they step into that pack. They won't even make it to the castle alive, talk less of kidnapping Bella."

  He explained with all seriousness.

Alpha D'argan leaned backwards on his chair and thought about all that he had just said and he realized that the wizard was right. Those guys would get killed even before they got to the castle.

He had made a fatal error.

"I didn't even think about all that." He said rubbing his forehead tiredly.

He was frustrated about everything that was going on. The days were going by fast, his health was deteriorating, his doom was drawing closer and there he was, enacting foolish plans that would not work.

  He felt sorry for himself.

"Nothing I do seems to be working. The world Street Pack isn't even trying to do anything, but here I am, getting all worked up and miserable. Coming up with foolish plans that will not work. I am doomed indeed." He cried out of frustration.

"Maybe you would if you were in this alone." Calum speclated and Alpha D'argan looked up at him, with a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.

He did not understand what the wizard had just told him.

  "I don't think I understand you."

"When the Rogue king told me what you had ordered him to do, I asked him to bring the soldiers he was about to send to the Wall Street Pack. When he did, I worked some magic on them. Magic which gave them the smell of the Wall Street members. I also gave them the uniform worn by the castle guards and gave them a potion to drink. Anyone who looks at them will not figure out that they are imposters, except for the witch, Diana of course, so I told them to stay clear of her. The magic I did on them expires in three days. So hopefully, in three days' time, they will show up with the person we want and the curse that was placed on you will be broken." He explained and Alpha D'argan smiled.

"Thank you very much Calum. Thank you for having my back as you do. I really do appreciate it."

"You are welcome,Alpha. And for the boundary spell, I'm still working on it. The witch strengthens it very often, using different spells, so it's hard for me to know those spells and reverse them. Nevertheless, I'm working hard on it and soon, I will break the boundary spell."

"I trust you will do exactly as you have said."

"I will take my leave now." Then he spinned around and walked out of the living room with his white garment and hair flying all over.

Alpha D'argan leaned on his chair once more and let out a loud hysterical chuckle.

A while ago, he had thought he was failing, but after the conversation with the wizard, he just found out that everything was on track and going according to plan.

"They won't even see it coming!" He whispered.
