CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX.

Diana who had been searching for Bella for over thirty minute had still not found her anywhere in the castle and she was getting worried. When Achilles told her he and sent her to his chambers with a guard, she went to check on her to see if she was alright because she knew she(Bella) had witnessed the fight between Alex and Achilles. However, Bella seemed not to be around.

Her brothers had separated to God-knows-where so she mindlinked them to meet her in Achilles' living to report to them that Bella was missing.

Her heart drummed hard when she thought of the possibility that she could've been kidnapped by one of Alpha D'argan's men, but she knew that was impossible because the boundary spell prevented anyone form the Crystal Moon Pack from getting in.

She quickly dismissed the thought and settled on the thought that Bella had seen the two brothers fighting and gotten upset, so she had decided to lock herself up somewhere to be alone for some time.

"Diana." Achilles was the first to call her name when the three men(Achilles, Alex and Tony) walked into the living room with worried looks plastered on their faces.

She didn't call Tony and it bothered her that he was there because he was capable of raiding her mind, distracting her from focusing on what she had called them there for.

"Achilles." She called as she approached them. I can't find Bella. I have searched every room with the help of other maids in every chamber, but she is nowhere to be found. I thought you said you sent her to your chamber with a guard."

"I did!" He insisted with his eyes wide open. "When I got the news that she was out for a walk with Alex, I knew I was going to fight him, so I went along with a guard who would take her home while I stayed behind and settled scores sith Alex."

  "Do you know the guard?"

"Of course I…" He suddenly stopped talking and stared blankly into space when he realized that he had no idea who that guard was. He knew every guard in that castle because they were people he had grown up with.

  "What's wrong?"

"Diana, there has been an imposter in this castle!"

  "What are you talking about?"

"I don't know the guard who took her. I mean I know every guard in this castle because I grew up with them, but now that I'm looking at it critically, I don't think I know that guard. He was an imposter!"

"Imposter as in someone from another pack?" Tony asked with furrowed brows.

"For sure and he definitely was not alone.."

"That's impossible!" Alex objected. "If they were strangers from another pack we all could have smelled them and they definitely wouldn't be versed with the environment!" He further explained.

"All of that could be possible." Diana told them and they all gave her confused looks, especially Alex.

He wasn't just confused, but he was angry.

He was angry because Diana never failed to contradict his ideas in favor of Achilles'. It seemed like they both thought the same, but he was always abstract.

  "How?" Achilles asked.

"Remember they have a wizard. It's possible for him to give them potions to drink or cast spells on them that would make them smell like us and know every detail about everyone in this castle."

"So, you are trying to say that Alpha D'argan sent men to come and kidnap Bella and they have succeeded." Achilles asserted, looking at Diana who bit her lips hard and looked at him.

"I fear so." She says nodding her head and a pin dropping silence filled the entire living room.

No one dared to look at another.

Tony stood nervously at his end, peeking at Achilles from the side of eye to see what his next action would be while Alex began blaming himself. If he had not taken Bella for a walk, then none of that would have happened.

Suddenly, the entire living room felt very cold and a strong wind blew, causing everyone's hair on their bodies and heads to stand erect. The men looked at each other, petrified, but Diana was calm as she walked to the door with a stoic appearance.

The wind soon stopped and the guys shot their eyes wide open when Diana I'mappily caught a piece of paper in the air and looked at them.

"What was that?" Achilles asked, frightened.

"The wizard cannot physically penetrate the boundary, but that doesn't mean he won't try to use other means." She said opening the envelope and the others joined her.

"What does it say?" Alex asked impatiently.

Diana quietly read the letter and when she was done, she looked up at them.

"He has her." The announcement caused Achilles' soul to walk out of his body. He held his mouth as he tried to suppress the scream that was threatening to fly out of his lungs.

He staggered backwards in pain and took short heavy breaths as he tried to assimilate the news he just received.

Bella and his unborn child were in the custody of a man who would not hesitate to kill them any time he pleased.

"This is not good." Tony whispered as he distanced himself from the two brothers because he knew the next thing they would do is attack each other.

  And he was right.

Achilles swiveled around and charged towards Alex with blood red eyes.

"This would not have happened if you did not take take out for that stupid walk in the garden!" He yelled at the top of his voice.

"And this would not have happened if you didn't show up and throw a tantrum like a hormonal human teenage girl!" Alex yelled back as he stood ready to fight his brother.

Diana did not let them get close. She gave one fierce clap and the entire living room shook so hard that everyone and everything, except her went down within the twinkle of an eye.

The guys looked up at her and noticed that her eyes were bloodshed in anger and her fingers were transforming into paws.

She took bold steps towards her brothers who were then trembling on the ground.

"I have had enough of all this child's play. You two have twenty-four hours to settle whatever disputes you have else I will take matters into my own hands and neither of you would love the outcome of that decision of mine. Twenty-four hours!" She warned with an echoing voice that neither of them had ever heard before.

She waved both hands in a circular motion in the air and everything in the living room went back to the way it was. She casted her brothers one last deadly look before walking out of the living room.

"Twenty-four hours." Tony whispered to them before leaving as well.

The two brothers sat on the floor, looking at each other in bewilderment.

They had never seen that side of Diana before.
