Bella did nothing but cry the entire time in the bedroom. Alpha D'argan's castle was the last place she wanted to be. She was scared for her life because she knew the tyrant was capable of doing anything to her at any given point in time.
As she cried, she wondered if Achilles and others had noticed her absence and even if they did, she wondered if they knew she had been kidnapped by Alpha D'argan. She was sure that once they found out, they would do everything in their power to come and get her, especially Achilles. He loved her very much and he had vowed to protect her with his life.
However, she was scared of one thing. That they should not show up late. They should not show up when Alpha D'agan has already executed his plan because she knew by then, she would be dead.
When she spoke with the time, she could see the determination in his eyes. Fifteen years ago, he had rampaged an entire pack for power. Killing her to end the prophecy was definitely going to be easy-peasy for him.
She panicked on her spot when she heard a knock on the room door and she was surprised. Usually, when the guards came to give her food or water, they would just barge in.
"Come in." She answered lifelessly.
The room door cracked open and she was shocked to see a middle aged woman walk into the bedroom. She watched in silence as the woman closed the door and turned to face, smiling.
Bella was the kind of girl who always reciprocated the smile people gave her, but in that particular instance, she did not. She kept glaring at the woman as she walked over to the bed she was seated on.
She looked at the woman from head to toe and the way she was dressed made her understand that she was not a servant. Her clothes looked very expensive, including the jewelry that adorned her neck and wrists. She had on very light make up and Bella could not deny the fact that she was an extremely gorgeous woman of class.
The aura that surrounded her made Bella confirm her identity.
She was definitely the Luna of the pack, Alpha D'argan's wife and her alleged step mother.
"I want to be left alone." Bella spoke out and turned her face away.
"I know that's what you want and I understand, but trust me, I'm here to help you."
"The only way you can help me is by getting me out of here right now. Can you do that?" Bella asked coldly and the gentle woman smiled warmly and sat on the bed.
She looked at her husband's daughter and fought her urge to cry because the tyrant had deprived her of having children when they got married. He invited the wizard to cast a spell of infertility on her so she was unable to conceive a child for him.
"I can, but not right now." Her response piqued Bella's interest. She turned her face and gave her a sharp gaze and she inturn nodded her head, still smiling.
"Did your husband send you to brainwash me? If that's the case just go away, because that's never going to happen." She told the woman clearly and turned her face away.
The woman looked at her for a while and just kept smiling.
"How gone are you?" She asked referring to the pregnancy.
"Almost due." Bella found herself responding.
"You are not supposed to be here. This is a very crucial time and you need to be around people who won't get you stressed up…" she spoke on and Bella looked at her with creased brows.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Because I want to help you." The woman whispered. "I know my identity makes it hard for you to trust me, but I can assure you that I hate that tyrant as much as you do. I know about the redemption and all. How the birth of this baby will be the end of him. I pray to the moon goddess everyday to keep you and your baby safe till the end so all this can finally be over."
"But… how us that possible, he us your mate!"
"But I hate him. Even the late bond is not strong enough to make stay obsessed and in love with someone as evil as him. I want him dead!" She whispered fiercely.
"And why should I trust your words? How would I know you both planned this so you can ruddiccule me in the end before killing me?"
"Bella…" The woman called in a whisper. "I know my words are not enough to convince you, but I swear on my life that this is coming from my heart. I am here to help you. The past fifteen years have been hell living under his roof and I want it to end already. I hate being with him. Just let me help you, please." Luna Elvira pleaded with tears shimmering in her eyes.
Bella did not know what to think or do or say.
The woman sounded very sincere and from the way she spoke, it showed that she had suffered a great deal under the tyrant Alpha and she truly wanted to get rid of him, but on a second thought, she could be faking all that just to get to her.
She swallowed the lump that had accumulated in her throat and looked up at her.
"I don't know what to say or do."
"Just don't tell the him we had this discussion, I promise to help you get out of here."
"If you really want to help me, then first you need to bring a doctor get me checked up. I had an appointment with my doctor this evening, but I got kidnapped. I have to get checked up."
"You don't have worry about that, I will get the Royal doctor and he's going to get you checked up. Anything else you need?"
"Food. I'm hungry." She added and Luna Elvira chuckled.
"I will get you something delicious to eat. Just stay cal…"
The two women shivered and turned to the door when it suddenly opened up, revealing the scar faced Alpha D'argan.
"What are you doing here?" He asked rudely as he approached them.
Luna Elvira instantly rose from the bed and fiddled with her fingers.
"I came to check if she needed anything."
"Hmmm…" He exclaimed and looked at Bella before looking at her again. "Does she?" He asked and Luna Elvira nodded her head.
"Yes. A doctor to have her checked and food."
"Go get them immediately!" He ordered and Bella instantly watched in horror as the woman instantly scampered away from the bedroom.
Her reaction to reaction her husband reminded Bella of the way she always felt when ever Louisa or her father called her to serve them. The shaky voice, trembling, fidgeting with fingers and running away the moment she was dismissed.
All those things made her understand that the woman's intention of helping her was genuine.
She hoped everything was going to go well so she can return back home to her family.
Alpha D'argan was not her family.
