CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT.

Bella creeped on her butt to the edge of the bed as Alpha D'argan drew closer to the bed. She dared not look at his face because it terrified her so much that she was scared she would have a miscarriage. Her hatred for him burned in her heart like a furnace and she would he would just dissapear from her sight.

As he walked to the the bed, he wasn't frowning at her, neither was he smiling. His countenance was blank and so she didn't know whether he was going to hurt her or not.

"Stop running away from me." He ordered in a cold tone as he stood before the bed. Bella, still in fear, curled up her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, not daring to look at him. "I'm not here to hurt you." He spoke again, but his words fell on deaf ears.

  Bella did not believe him.

He had sent threatening messages while she was still at the Wall Street Pack, promising to kill her the moment he set eyes on her, so she was scared of him.

"I don't believe you." She finally voiced her thoughts and Alpha D'argan calmly shook his head. She shrieked as he lowered himself to the bed and faced her.

"Come to daddy." He commanded in a calm tone and bd Bella violently shook her head.

"No! I don't want to." She denied stubbornly. Alpha D'argan closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh.

"I'm going to count to five and I want you seated before me the moment I open my eyes. One!" He started the count down, but Bella did not bulge.

He called the second number and she panicked when she saw his gaze grow darker.

When he got to the last number, Bella instantly creeped with her butt to the edge of the bed and sat by his side. She did not want him to lose his temper and hurt her.

When Alpha D'argan opened his eyes, he smiled on seeing Bella sitting so close to him. He rotated his body fully to face her and Bella's head dropped down.

His face was too hideous to look at.

"Now that wasn't so hard, was it."

"I know you have plans of killing me, but must you torture me before you do so? Just get on with it!" Bella spoke, not meaning a word that just came out from her mouth.

She did not want to die and she did not want any harm to come upon her unborn child either. She wanted to give birth to that child and raise him together with his father.

She loved Achilles so much that she wanted to marry him someday and spend the rest of her life with him.

Also, if she died, that would be the end for the Wall Street Pack. They would be doomed for life. She did not want that to happen either.

"Bella, let me tell you something you don't know. If I wanted to kill you, I would not have spent the past two days supervising the maids to prepare this very beautiful room for you. I would have killed you the moment my guards brought you in here, but I did not. When I first found out that you were my daughter, I cared less and planned to kill you, but as the days went by, I grew a soft spot for you that's why I prepared for your coming. I know I don't have the best reputation, especially how I treated your mother, but I can assure you that I will make a very good father if you give me the chance. All I want Is a chance." He spoke with so much confidence and Bella looked up at him like he had lost his mind.

"Are you high?" She asked with furrowed brows.

"Excuse me, what?" He asked confused.

"Are you seriously trying to buy me over with words? After all what you did to my mother? You took her away from your mate and turned her into your sex slave. You treated her like an outcast and now you dare open your mouth to tell me that you promise to be a good father to me if I give you a chance? What even makes you think that I will ever consider doing that?"

She asked and Alpha D'argan went mute.

"Fifteen years ago…" she continued. "You stormed into a pack whose Alpha considered you a very good friend had almost all it's subjects massacred, including the Alpha and Luna whom you were friends with. You killed peoples wives and husbands, turned children motherless and fatherless. Some, orphans. You, Alpha D'argan, I watched you mercilessly slay my mother with your big sword. You destroyed everything we had in that pack and you think I will ever out all that behind and accept you as my father? Never! I would rather jump off a cliff and die than stay here and accept you as my father father!" She spoke bitterly and her words enraged Alpha D'argan. He lifted his heavy hand in the air to strike her hard in the face but suddenly stopped midway when he saw her hide hid face away and burst into tears.

His heart melted and he calmly brought his hand down and gently patted her left cheek and breathed hard.

"Bella I don't want to hurt you, so please stop saying things to me that will make me do that." He spoke in a calm tone as looked down at her.

Bella who did not feel a slap took her arms over head and looked up at him totally surprised. She did not expect him to hold himself back from smacking her. She was completely petrified.

"You didn't hit me." She stated and Alpha D'argan quietly rose from the bed.

"Even the most heartless men get humbled by their daughters, princess. I might be the devil himself, but I will never hurt you with my own hands. Have some rest, I will make sure a doctor comes to have you checked up and have the servants prepare you something delicious." Then he walked out of the bedroom.

Bella was so stunned by his words and actions that her eyes did not leave the door he just exited.

Alpha D'argan of all people refrained himself from hitting her.

At that moment, she was very confused and didn't know what to think.

Alpha D'argan on the other hand walked out of the bedroom with a smirk plastered at the side of his lips.

  His plan had worked perfectly.
