"Grandma." Diana called in surprise as she walked into her private room and met her grandmother seated by the window. She had not summoned her for anything and her heart began beating because she knew if her grandmother was there, it leaned she had something important to say. She only prayed it wasn't bad news.
"Diana." Grandma called as rose from her seat and walked towards her. Diana could tell from her worried looks that she was about to say was bad news.
"Grandma." Dina whispered in fear. "What's going on?"
"It is time!" Grandma whispered and that got Diana confused.
"What… what do you mean by it is time Grandma? I don't understand."
"The boundary spell had been broken!" Grandma announced and immediately, Diana's hadn flew over her mouth and covered it to stop the scream that was about to ecaspe from it. She clutched her chest with the other and took and a few steps backwards, whimpering in fear. Her heartbeat grew more violent as the seconds ticked by and fera had caused all the hair on her body to stand erect.
"No!" She whispered with a shaky voice, shaking her head. Her eyes were begining to itchy with tears. If the Boundary spell was broken, then it was completely over for them. Alpha D'argan and his allies would barge in and kill them all.
"Yes, it is. The sorcerer managed to figure out how to break it and now, it's gone and that means it time for all this to be over. Bella is almost due, what you all need to do is protect her in the bzdt possible way until she has that child."
"Grbadm how are we going to that if Alpha D'argan and his swarm of allies come bathing in? The boundary spell was the only thing we could rely on."
"No… you are wrong. The boundary spell is not your only weapon against D'argan. You have and Alpha, you have Alex, you have soldiers and you are a powerful witch. You may be outnumbered, but that doesn't you are weak. If the moon goddess has let that happen, it means she had everything under control. All you need to do is protect Bella. Is that understood?" She asked with a firm voice and Diana quickly nodded her head.
"Yes, grandma."
"Good girl. Now ?a you brother and tell them. They have to know so they will be prepared for what's on the way."
"Grandma, what's on the way?" Daina asked frightened.
"Nothing you can't handle." Then she disappears.
Dina's had drops from chest as she slumps on a nearby couch with a heavy sigh escaping her lips.
She was totally drained and frightened at the moment. The boundary spell being broken was not a good thing at all. She immediately mindlinked her two brothers and Tony to meet her in her private room so she could tell them about the latest developments. She still could not believe what she had juts heard.
Everyone, she make sure to strengthenthat boundary with different spells, but that soczre had manged to figure it out and break it, making them defenseless. She was so scared for her people and family.
In less than no time, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." She answered and immediately, the door creakedd open and Tony walked in. She wanted to go and crash into his arms so he could hug and comforta her, but that urge died down when Achilles followed closely behind and then Alex. She didn't want then to get suspicious.
"Achilles" she called in a worried tone as she walked over to them.
"Why do you look so worried?" Achilles asked concerned.
"Because there's trouble."
"Trouble? What kind of trouble?" Alex asked frightened as he began looking around the room if he'd see trouble flying around or hund on the wall somewhere.
"Grandma was here and she told me something very bad."
"Diana stop keeping me in suspense. What exacyid wrong?" Achilles asked impatiently.
"The boundary spell." Diana whispered.
"What about the…" Achilles began asking but stopped when it occured to him what she might be talking about. He looked at her and took a step forward as she began shaking his head. "No…no…no.." he denied multiple time and Diana nodded her head as a huge tear rolled her cheeks.
"Yes." She whispered with a shaky voice as mire teras spilled down. Both. Alex and Tony had no idea what they were talking about. They were lost.
"Excuse me. I seem to be lost. Can something tell me what's going on?" Alex asked and Diana turned to face him while Achilles beagn pacing around the room.
"The boundary spell has been broken." Diana announced and both Alex and Tony's mouths fell in shock.
"What?" Tony asked aghast.
"Yes Tony, it had been broken!"
"Shit! I have to go and rally the gurdas and soldiers. Excuse me." He said and immediately bolted out of the room, leaving the three siblings.
"How did this happen?" Achiles aksed looking at Diana.
"I… don't know." She was crying. "I… I made sure yo strengthen it everyday. I swear I did. I shared the spells, I strengthened,I … I…" she burst into tears. "I'm sorry for failing you my Alpha. I'm sorry, please forgive me." She pleaded admit violent sobs and Achilles shook his head as he took her into his arms.
"Come on princess, don't apologize. I know you did your best. I don't blame you for this."
"You must be mad at me." She cried harder in his arms. "I'm the witch, I'm supposed to protect you all."
"And you have done a good job doing that. This isn't your fault honey, please stop crying, you are breaking my heart." He said blinking hard to prevent tears from spilling down his cheeks. He hated seeing Diana cry. "None of this is your fault. Please don't blame yourself." He begged her, but she juts kept sobbing in his arms.
"Achilles is right, Princess." Alex finally talks. "None of this is your fault, so don't blame yourself. You have been your part perfectly for a very long time now, so don't feel like a failure. I strongly believe the loom godded has a reason for letting this happen. For now, juts make sure to keep and eye on Bella, Tony and I will make sure the boundary is protected. Is that clear?" He asked and Diana calmly nodded her head.
"I will leave now and I forbid you from crying and blaming yourself. None of this is on you."
"I won cry." She said wiping her tears and Alex noodded his head before leaving the room.
Dina a disengaged herself from her brother's arms and wiped her tears away.
"Cry baby." Achilles mocked and Diana gave him a playful smack on his left arm.
"Stop saying that." She cried and he burst into laughter, depsite the fact that they were all in deep shit.
"For real, this isn't your fault, so don't blame yourself.because I know you, the moment we all leave, you'll go back into your she'll a f blame yourself for every bad thing happening the world rufht now. This is 'ot your fault!" He insisted abd Disba laughed as she nodded her head.
Achilles knew her even more than she knew her own self.
"I won't do that." She assured him with a smile.
"Then that'll be good." He Saud patting her shoulders.
A frown instantly formed on his face when he remembered the question Bella asked him a while ago. None of them had spoken a word after that question and what saved the moment was Diana's mindlink.
"What's wrong?" Diana asked, sending his worry.
"A while ago, Bellasle a question and I had no answer to that question." He explained and looked up at him with searching eyes.
"What was the question?"
"What is all of this gets over and the curse gets broken. What if we find out that we are not mates?" He repeated the question to Diana abd get gaze darkened.
She stared at the blank wall for a while before turning to look at Achilles to give her response.
"You both will cross that bridge when you get there." Was all so he said before walking out if the room, leaving Achilles dumfounded.
Everyone has taken parables as the language to be used when answering very critical questions.
He let out a heavy sigh a d shook his head as he exited the room.
