CHAPTER EIGHTY-NINE

  FIVE YEARS LATER.

"Alexander!" The nanny called for the umpteenth time, but little Alex pretended to be asleep. It was morning and he needed to wake up and go to school and like every five year-old, that was the worst moment of his life.

"It's still too early!" He grumbled under the sheets.

"Alexander Ramon Achilles!" Bella scolded from the door and immediately young Alexander recognized his mother's thunderous voice, he immediately took off the duvet from his head and jumped down from the bed.

"I'm up mummy!" He reported as he fidgitted around.

"Better." She said as she turned to look at the nanny. "Please prepare breakfast for him, I will take it from here."

"Yes ma'am." The maid agreed and exited the bedroom. Bella turned to Alex who was standing before her, pouting his lips and she took an akimbo posture, making him understand that she was not happy with what she did.

"I'm sorry mummy." Alex apologized with his head bowed down.

"That's what you said yesterday, the day before yesterday and the day before!" She replied, not buying his sorrowful look.

"It's so cold and it's hard to get out of the duvet in the morning." He complained.

"Nanny Kelly's duvet is just as warm as well, but she wakes up even earlier than you do to get you ready for school, try another excuse."

"I promise it won't happen again."

"You better not break that promise young man, else you'll be in big trouble with your father." She warned him and he quietly nodded his head because he knew what she said was true. His father always warned him not to make promises he couldn't keep, so now that he had just made one, he was going to try his best not to break it so he won't get chastised by his father.

"I won't." He denied confidently and Bella smiled.

"That's my little Alpha. Come here!" She cooed as she picked him up in her arms and took him into the bathroom to commence with his routine. She put him to stand before the sink where is toothbrush was kept so he could brush his teeth.

"Mummy I wanna pee." He said rushing over to the toilet pot where he put down his pants and began to pee.

"Mummy, I had a strange dream." He reported as he peed and Bella stopped what she was doing and turned to face him.

  "What was it about honey?"

"I dreamed aunt Diana paid us a visit and she was crying."

At the mention of the name Diana, Bella's heart fell into her stomach. Ever since they left the Wall Street Pack, they had never discussed Diana to their son. She was terrified to hear him talk about her.

"How did you know it was aunt Diana?" She asked, confused.

"When she came, daddy introduced her to me as aunt Diana. She was very beautiful."

"Ahhh…" was all Bella could say.

"Mummy, where is aunt Diana? Why has she never been here?" Alex inquired curiously and Bella quickly cleared her throat and picked up his toothbrush.

"Come on love, let's get you ready for school so you won't miss your bus." She changed the topic and Alex was not satisfied.

"Mummy, I asked about aunt Diana."

"Your aunt Diana lives very far away, love, it's impossible for her to visit us." She lied.

"No it's not! There are many means of transportation, she could take a plane, like we always do when we go on vacations. Dad even has a private plane of his own, why does he tell his pilots to…"

"Alex, you ask your father that question, not me. Please. For now, let's get you ready for school, shall we?" She asked with a forced smile and Alex sadly nodded his head. He wanted to know more about his aunt.

Bella hastily smeared toothpaste on the toothbrush and assisted Alex in brushing his teeth.

After dressing him up for school, she sent him down to wait for them while she went to meet Achilles who was getting dressed for work.

That night when they left for their pack, Diana gave them a lot of gold and Diamonds to come and exchange for money so they would be comfortable. Achilles did just that and used some of the money to open up numerous businesses that were flourishing in the city they lived in. They were one of the richest people in the city at the moment.

"Hey honey." Achilles called as Bella approached him by the mirror stand in the walk in closet. He was struggling with his tie.

"Let me help you." She offered as she walked over to him and began knotting the tie.

"Was he still adamant to get out of bed?"

"That habit is not getting out of him anytime soon, but then, he made a promise that I'm sure he'll keep because he knows how seriously you take promises."

"That's gonna be a hard one." Achilles concluded and they laughed.

"He told me he had a dream about Diana. As in he called her name, aunt Diana. He knew it was her." She announced and Achilles paused as he looked down at her.

"What did he say happened in the dream?"

"She came to pay us a visit and she looked sad." She said as she rounded up with the knotting and took a step back.

She leaned by the closet island and crossed her arms over her breasts.

"One thing for sure is that's no ordinary dream. That's Diana trying to send us a message." Bella pointed out and Achilles let out a heavy sigh. He picked up his tuxedo jacket on the island Bella was leaning on and walked out of the closet.

For five years, he had lived without any thoughts of the Wall Street pack roaming his mind. He was happy with the life he was living at the moment and he loved how peaceful it was.

If Diana was sending him a message through their son, that something was wrong back home and he did not care.

He was never going to go back to that pack.

"Daddy!" Alex called enthusiastically as he rushed into his father's waiting arms. Achilles pitched him up and lifted him high in the air before carrying him in his arms and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"Good morning daddy." Alex greeted me with a bright smile.

"Good morning Alex, how was your night?"

"Dreamy. I had a dream that aunt Diana came to visit us and she looked sad." Alex repeated the dream to his father whose mood immediately changed to gloomy. "Daddy, where's aunt Diana? I asked mummy, but all she said was that aunt Diana lived far off and couldn't visit."

"Mummy is right, love. Your aunt Diana can't visit."

"But she did, it was my dream." He insisted and Achilles sighed in frustration.

"Why don't we just eat breakfast and get you to School? We will talk more about Aunt Diana during dinner time."

  "Promise?"

  "I promise!"

"Cool!" He rejoiced as he slid down from his father's arms and rushed to the diner where breakfast had been served.

"I can't believe I just made such a promise." He mumbled to himself as he went to join Alex.
