CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN.

When Alpha Curtis got into his living room, he was surprised to meet Demien waiting for him.

On his way back from the Crescent Moon Pack, he mind linked Demien to send word to all the Alphas of the neighboring packs, requesting them to come over to his pack for an urgent meeting, but he did not tell him what that meeting was about, so he knew Demien was there to find out for himself.

"Good morning, Alpha Curtis." Demien greeted with a slight bow as Alpha Curtis walked further into the office to the sitting area.

"Good morning Demian." He responded as he made himself comfortable on one of the couches in the sitting area. Demien was still leaning by his office table when he looked up at him. "Why do I feel like I know why you are here?" He asked with creased brows and that made Demien laugh. He detached himself from the table and walked towards his Alpha in the sitting area.

"You said to sent word to the neighboring Alphas about a certain meeting, but you didn't tell me what the meeting was about." He explained calmly and Alpha Curtis nodded his head.

  "Curious, huh?"

  "Yeah."

"Well, Alpha D'argan summoned me this morning to talk about a nightmare he had about some strange girl wanting to kill him. He said he suspected it had something to do with the Wall Street Pack. He thinks they are planning to wage a war against him and I think he is right."

"And, what has that got to do with us and the other pack?"

"Well, it appears Alpha D'argan is not powerful enough to get into war with them. Remember they have a very powerful witch who can take down an entire army with just a single spell. So, according to him, he needs more soldiers to go to war with them and we as in the neighboring packs and us are going to provide those soldiers for him." He explained carefully and Demien's anger spiked.

"He has totally lost it!" Demien cursed furiously as he rose to his feet. "I hate that stupid sense of entitlement of his. He's always making dirty plans and forcing others to execute them for him!"

"But not this time around!" Alpha Curtis denied as he rose to his feet as well.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I have summoned the Alphas of the neighboring packs and I'm positive that they will show up in less than no time, but that doesn't mean I'm going to ask them to become allies with Alpha D'argan. I'm going to make them all see reasons why they should fight against him and I'm sure after I do that, they won't hesitate to take the side of the Wall Street Pack. I'm going to turn them all against that tyrant because that is what he deserves!" He asserted firmly and Demien couldn't help but smile.

  "That's brilliant!"

"Yes, it is. It was about time we got rid of the tyrant that's trying to tear our peaceful world apart. All we have to do is give the Wall Street Pack the necessary support and all this will be over!"

  ***********************************************

Six Alpha's of six packs sat facing each other in the conference room at Alpha Curtis' chambers.

Alpha Atlas of the Blood Moon Pack.

Alpha Kane of the Crystal Moon Pack

Alpha Elijah of the Royal Street Pack

Alpha Asher of the Six Street Pack

Alpha Damon of the Delton Pack and

Alpha Kai of the Royal Bloody Pack.

They had all been summoned earlier that morning by Alpha Curtis and none of them hesitated to show up.

They were all engaged in hushed conversations as they waited for Alpha Curtis to arrive and when he did, the entire hall went silent as he made a graceful entrance into the conference room with Demien following closely behind. He walked over to the table and all other Alphas stood up from their seats as he took the head seat. He calmly gestured for them to take their seats and once they were all seated, a pin dropping silence spread across the room.

The other Alpha's were completely ignorant of why he had summoned them and they were eager to know.

"Good day to you all, great Alphas. I'm honestly thrilled to see that you all honored my invitation despite the short notice, therefore, I welcome you all to the Black Wood Pack."

"Thank you, Alpha Curtis." They answered inharmoniously.

"You all must be wondering why I summoned you here, is that right?"

"That's correct." Alpha Asher agreed as the others nodded.

"Well, earlier today, I got word from Alpha D'argan…" At the mention of that name, everyone's mood changed to bad. "He asked me to come over to his pack when I did, he told me he had a nightmare about a strange girl trying to kill him and he suspected that it had something to do with the Wall Street Pack. He said he was aware of the fact that they were planning to wage a war against him. He then went ahead to make me understand that he would be needing our help to defeat them."

"And what kind of help would that be?" Alpha Kai asked curiously.

"Our soldiers. He needs our soldiers to ambush the Wall Street Pack and have them all killed."

"Absolutely not! There's no way I'm sending my soldiers to commit such an atrocity!" Alpha Kane denied flatly.

"Me neither. I have absolutely no problem with the Wall Street Pack, so I'm not going to send my soldiers there to have them all killed, I'm not going to do it!" That was Alpha Atlas.

Alpha Curtis calmly crossed his arms over his chest and leaned on his chair to relax as he watched the Alphas speak their minds about how they felt about the proposal. He then looked up at Damien and they both smiled at each other.

"I'm not doing it. You can tell him that, I don't care what he does to me." Alpha Damon asserted firmly and the others nodded.

Alpha Curtis saw that as the perfect opportunity to make his proposition.

"Gentlemen!" He called firmly and the room fell in dead silence. He placed both hands on the conference table and intertwined his fingers as he leaned forward to have a better look at them. "Even I am against that bullshit. I don't want send my soldiers to go cause trouble in the Wall Street Pack, that's why I have a better proposition."

  "Which is?"

"We all know what that tyrant did to those people twenty years ago. We also know that they tried to fight for redemption five years ago, but failed. We know how much they have suffered in the hands of that tyrant. I know that we were all just little boys when the massacre happened, but I know we can remember how things used to be when Alpha Rowan was in charge as Paramount Alpha. We were all united. Business boomed and the werewolf world was peaceful. Dear Alphas, the Wall Street Pack is the only pack that can lead us all and I believe that if we support them in winning this war against the tyrant Alpha, everything will be back to the way they used to be. Think of how Achilles picked that pack from its ashes and made something good out of it. For twenty years, we've all been in business with them and everything has been moving just fine. Just imagine Alpha D'argan out of the picture, imagine how different things would be without him. Just imagine." He spoke out and all the Alphas exchanged glances.

"So, what do we need to do?" Alpha Asher asked after a long moment of silence.

"What we have to do is join forces with the Wall Street Pack to fight against the tyrant Alpha. I tried talking to him the last time, but he did not believe me, but if I go again, in your names and in my name as well, he will definitely believe me. If we are all in this, then all I have to do is pay him a visit, will that be cool?" He asked, looking at them and they all nodded their heads.

"Try your best to talk him into accepting our alliance. The only Alpha who's fit to lead is Alpha Achilles and I'm ready to fight by his side." Alpha Damon made it clear and Alpha Curtis couldn't help but smile.

He had done exactly what he planned to do: turn all the Alpha's against Alpha D'argan.

  Mission accomplished!
