Achilles sighed for the millionth time as he looked at the door before him, wondering if he should go in or turn around and leave. He was there to see his little niece, Bella. The last time he was there, she was alseep and looking not good at all, but the previous night, Bella had made him understand that she had miraculously gotten better when Alex cuddled her up in his arms.

　　Growing up with Diana, he had never for once thought of the fact that she would have a child especially as she used to be infertile and that's why it was easy for him to leave without thinking twice when he decided to leave five years ago, but at that moment, he felt heartbroken to know that his only niece was suffering because of him.

　　"She's not suffering because of you, brother." Diana read his thoughts from behind and Achilles was so startled that he jumped as he turned to look who had just spoken behind him. When he saw Diana, he let out a dramatic sigh as he held his chest. He had been so lost in thought that he did not hear her walk in.

　　"You scared me." He lamented and that made Diana chuckle.

　　"I'm sorry about that, but stop standing out here, you should go in and see her."

　　"Yeah… I definitely should." He turned to the door once more and hesitated for a short while before stretching his hand forward to open it up. Once the door was open, he stepped in with his eyes scanning the entire bedroom. It was the complete opposite of Alex's.

　　The theme color of the bedroom was pink and there were dolls scattered all over the room. The room gave out this girlie vibe that made him want to have a daughter too.

　　When he spotted Bella lying on the bed, his heart missed a bit. He turned to look at Diana and only proceeded to walk closer to Bella when she urged him with a nod.

　　As he walked closer, Bella who had felt his presence sat up straight from the bed and smiled at him.

　　"Uncle Achilles, you are here." She called enthusiastically and Achilles was shocked by the fact that she knew he was, but he decided to play cool.

　　"Yes princess, I'm here. " He saud as he took a seat by her side. "How are you doing today?"

　　"Better, even though my heart still hurts." She replied and Achilles could sense how much she struggled to stay happy. He could tell from her voice and the tired look in her eyes that she was not feeling too well.

　　With a warm smile on his lips, he leaned closer to the little and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead.

　　"Please forgive me for not being here when you were born. I never thought about the day would come when…"

　　"Achilles." Diana interrupted. " No is not the time, just spend time with your niece and stop Lamenting. You can't change the past, brother." She made it clear and Achilles saw her point.

　　"You are right. I can't change the past indeed."

　　"Uncle Achilles."

　　"Yes, princess."

　　"Mummy told me you are a very powerful Alpha King. She also told me you would come back and defeat the wicked Alpha so I can be well again." Little Bella explained weakly, but with a powerful smile plastered on her face. Achilles, who couldn't hold it in, chuckles hard as he kisses her tiny fingers.

　　"Well, Love. Your mummy was right. I'm a very powerful Alpha King and I'm here to defeat the tyrant Alpha so that not only you, but every other child in the pack can get better."

　　"Thank you very much Uncle Achilles. I can't get better so I get to play with Alex. He's a good brother, he takes very good care of me and I love him very much." She dessipated and both Achilles and Diana exchanged glances with tears filled in their eyes. They were both intrigued by the love two children had for each other.

　　"Your brother Alex loves you just as much sweetheart, even more."

　　A knock at the door interrupted their conversation.

　　"Come in." Diana signaled and immediately the door opened up, Alex came flying in all the way to the bed to meet his sister. Bella calmly followed behind and she was surprised to see Achilles and Diana sitting by Bella's side.

　　"Thank God you two are here. Please help me tuck them, I'm off to complete my siesta." She said and left before either of the siblings could respond.

　　"Daddy, aunt Diana, mummy says it's nap time and I want to have a nap with Bella, is that okay."

　　"Of course it is sweetheart." Diana responded as she picked up the little boy and put him to lie by Bella's side on the bed. Bella who had been waiting immediately snuggled into his arms and they both took a sleeping position. Both Achilles and Diana knew that was their cue to leave the children alone.

　　"We are gonna leave you two to rest. Is that okay."

　　"Yes daddy."

　　Diana covered them and both with the duvet and kissed their foreheads before leaving the bedroom.

　　"You know, I've always been curious about one thing." Achilles suddenly asked as they both walked along the hallway.

　　"What's that?"

　　"How did you feel the day you found out you and Tony were mates?" Achilles asked as he stopped walking. Diana, who was shocked by the question, stopped walking and looked up at him. She chuckled lightly and shook her head, driving Achilles into a state of confusion.

　　"What's funny?" He asked, perplexed.

　　"Well…" She said, trying to calm herself down. "There's this secret Tony and I were able to keep from you and Alex for like ten years now."

　　"Ten years? What the hell is that…'' he suddenly stopped talking and looked at her intensely like he just realized something. "No… no way." He said, shaking his head. "It had better not be what I'm thinking."

　　"What are you thinking?" Diana asked giggling.

　　"We're you and Tony having an affair without my knowledge?"

　　"No! We weren't, but we liked each other."

　　"It's the same thing!"

　　"No, it's not!" She said laughing hard and Achilles just kept fuming in anger. "Now stop being irrational and listen to me. I started liking Tony when I was sixteen and…"

　　"Sixteen!!!" Achilles screamed in horror.

　　"Achilles, you are going to wake the kids."

　　"Sixteen Diana!" He repeated in a hushed voice. "What did you know at that age?"

　　"Well, I knew that I was a beautiful woman and that Tony was a handsome man with good character. I also knew that I wanted to have beautiful babies and spend the rest of my life with him." She explained enthusiastically and Achilles took an akimbo pose, looking at her like a father who was greatly disappointed in his daughter who just got pregnant for her boyfriend. "Look, we just liked each other, but we were too scared to let it reach your ears, so we decided to keep it a secret. Tony planned to tell you after the war, but things turned out the way they did and he did not have the chance to do so. That night, when we both found out we were mates, I couldn't contain my joy. I can only thank the moon goddess for letting it be so."

　　"You both definitely pulled that off well. Not for once did I suspect that you and Tony liked each other. Anyway, I'm happy you two are together. Tony is actually the only man I see fit for you and I hope that he treats you well."

　　"Tony treats me nicely, Achilles. Just like he's a good and devoted Beta to you, he's a good and devoted husband and father and I love him to bits and I'm sure that he loves Bella and I just as much."

　　"I'm glad you found someone who makes you happy. I feel like I want to thank him for being a good husband and father to you and my niece. Do you know where he might be?"

　　"Tony is a very busy man, he could be at any angle of the pack right now, just mindlink him and ask his whereabouts."

　　"I will do just that." He agreed and before he could realize, Diana had crashed into his arms and engulfed him in a bone crushing hug.

　　"I love you very much, brother and I'm happy you are back home. You have no idea how grateful I am for the fact that I get to see you everyday. These five years have not been easy for me, I swear I missed you so much!" She cried in his arms and all Achilles could do was hug her back and pamper her as she cried.

　　If there was one thing for sure, it was the fact that he was never going to leave his sister behind ever again.
