Achilles and Tony spent the rest of the day at the river banks discussing everything and nothing. They finally got to catch up on everything they had missed out on. Tony explained to him in detail how he and Carter had ruled the pack during the past years and Achilles in turn explained to him how his life had been in the human world as a very rich businessman. The two men had a great time and when it was finally nightfall, they both went to the castle and separated to their various chambers.

　　Achilles went straight to his bedroom, preparing his mind for the fight Bella had surely prepared for him because he had blocked his mindlink almost all day. He wanted to have quality time with Tony and didn't want anyone to interrupt.

　　Standing by his room door, he heaved out a heavy sigh and shook his head.

　　"Help me, sweet Moon goddess. Please help me." He prayed in his heart as he creaked open the door. He poked his head in and peeped in to scan the scenario and when he noticed everything was calm, he gently walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind him.

　　Bella, who perceived his scent from the closet, immediately rushed into the bedroom and when her eyes met with Achilles', he froze on his tracks while she took an akimbo pose.

　　"Babe, please I can explain." Achilles pleaded and he made his way towards her.

　　"It had better be a valid explanation as to why you would block your mindlink all day. You got me worried sick! I only managed to calm down when Diana told me you were with Tony!" She scolded in annoyance. Achilles could tell from her tone and the look on her face that she was indeed furious.

　　Slowly, carefully, he walked towards her and when he was just a few inches away from her, he held her hand and kissed the back of her palms.

　　"I didn't mean to make you worry. I needed to talk with Tony, so we could catch up on lost time. That's why I blocked my mindlink. I just wanted us to talk without being interrupted. I'm sorry." He said kissing her hands multiple times. "I'm sorry my love. I promise it won't happen again."

　　"I got worried when I couldn't reach you." She said with a shaky voice and her calm tone made Achilles understand that she was no longer furious. It was now safe for him to try to hug her.

　　"Come here." He said pulling her into his arms and she did not resist. "It's never gonna happen again. I promise."

　　"I'm gonna take your word for it." Bella said as she disengaged herself from the hug and went to sit on the bed.

　　"How's Alex?" He asked, referring to their son.

　　"He's doing okay."

　　"Since we got here, I haven't really spent time with him, I've been very busy and I feel bad for neglecting him."

　　"Achilles no. You are not neglecting Alex. He actually understands your position and he's not complaining. On the contrary, he admires you very much and you have no idea how much he brags about the fact he's going to be Alpha one day. He wants to be like you someday."

　　"I'm happy he wants to be like me someday, but I'm going to have to suppress that bragging attitude of his. No Alpha should brag about his position. Is he asleep already?"

　　"Yeah, he insisted on spending the night with his sister. They are both cuddled up in each other's arms and it's the sweetest thing ever. You have to see for yourself and also kiss them goodnight."

　　"I will and I'm happy they are bonding so well. I'm even more excited that his presence seems to make Bella feel better."

　　"Me too love, me too."

　　There is a moment of silence.

　　"Baby." Bella called quietly, snapping Achilles out of his thoughts.

　　"Yes love."

　　"Have you ever wondered how we are going to do this?"

　　"Do what?"

　　"Stop all this trouble? We came here to fight a war against the tyrant Alpha, but I have no idea how we are going to go about fighting that war. Do you have any idea what we have to do?" She asked worriedly.

　　Achilles sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

　　"To be honest, I have nothing on my mind as of now, but I know the Moon goddess has a plan and will soon reveal it to us. Remember, grandma is back and she's the one who always tells us how to go about doing things. For example, she has instructed us to accept the alliance Alpha Curtis of the Black Wood pack would propose. I strongly believe once that happens, the next step will be revealed. It's all going to unfold just like it did the other time."

　　"Yeah. That makes sense."

　　"Remember how this all started?" He suddenly asked and Bella's face reddened when she understood what he was talking about. Her head dropped down and she began fidgeting with her fingers.

　　It had been almost six years already, but she still blushed hard whenever she thought of the first encounter she had with Achilles in his bedroom.

　　"Someone looks shy." Achilles teased as he tried to lift her head up with his index finger but she swiftly slapped his hand away and he laughed hard.

　　"Leave me alone." She cried in embarrassment.

　　"To tell you what? That was the best night of my life."

　　"You accused me of seducing you the next morning!" Bella retaliated.

　　"Because I was stupid. And I was even more stupid when I hesitated to marry you. Bella you are the light of my life and I swear to the Moon goddess that without you I'm doomed. I can't thank her enough for bringing you into my life."

　　"Aren't you hungry? You and Tony skipped dinner." Bella quickly changed the topic much to Achilles' disappointment.

　　"So why change the topic?"

　　"Cus it's embarrassing. You should go take a bath, I'm gonna go bring your dinner." She said, stepping down from the bed and rushing out of the bedroom. Achilles just laughed as he walked into the closet to take off his clothes.

　　Bella was still a very shy girl.
