The visit to the Donovan's completely ruined Bella's mood for the rest of the day. The moment she got back home, she locked up herself in the bedroom and cried herself to sleep. Even when she woke up that evening, her mood did not change. She was still in a pretty bad mood. She regretted ever going back to see Louisa and get father.

　　She had thought she was going to feel better after getting an apology from them for everything they did to her, but the only thing she felt was anger and bitterness..

　　She felt sorry for herself as well.

　　A knock on her room door snapped her out of her downing thought.

　　"Come in." She answered and the door opened up, revealing Achilles. Without warning, she suddenly burst into tears, getting Achilles all confused.

　　"Baby." He called worried as he closed the door behind him and took quick steps to the bed to meet her. " Baby." He called yet again as he sat by her side. "What's wrong?" He asked concerned and Bella just kept sobbing like a baby. "Babe you are getting me really nervous right now. Can you please just tell me what going on? Would you at least look at me?" Achilles insisted and Bella finally looked up at him with her entire face drenched with tears.

　　Her eyes were as red as blood and she looked miserable.

　　Achilles heart fell into his abdomen upon seeing her current state. A lot of things crossed his mind that very second. He thought of his son, he thought of little Bella, he thought of Diaba , he thought of Bella herself. He wondered if something bad had happened to any of them.

　　"Did something bad happen while I was away?" He asked impatiently.

　　"No… nothing bad happened."

　　"Then why are you crying? Baby please, tell me what's wrong." Achilles begged. He was so worried that he couldn't even think straight.

　　"I…I… went over to see Louisa and father today."

　　"You mean the Donovans?"

　　"Yes. I went to see them." She agreed.

　　"Did… did they hurt you in any way?" He was alarmed and Bella quickly shook her head.

　　"No, they didn't, but I realized that it was foolish of me to go there. Babe I just wanted to find out why they treated me the way they did, why they beat me up so much and they had nothing to say. They had no reason to give. They just maltreated me because they had the power to do so and that hurts so bad. It hurts so bad." She explained in tears and Achilles felt so bad for her.

　　The fact that she was crying because of the Donovan's made him want to punish them all over again. He hated that particular family for what they did to his Bella and he wished he could just banish them from the pack.

　　"I feel like an idiot for going back there. I have done nothing but rekindled past memories I can't deal with."

　　"Don't feel that way, love. The most important thing is that those pages of your life have been closed and till today, they are paying for their sins. They owed you an apology indeed and I'm sorry for not thinking about that. I had to bring them here so they could get down on their knees and apologize to you."

　　"All that is really not important. I mean I thought it was, but here I am, crying and feeling sorry for myself. I'm just going to forget about them. They are not worth my tears."

　　"I'm happy you know that. Come here." He said, opening his arms wide for her to get in and once she did, he pulled her close to him and calmly stroked her hair. "They treated you poorly for twenty good years and I know that's not an easy thing for you to forget, but just take a look around and see how much things have changed. The Moon goddess took you away from their cruel hands and brought you here to me. Our beginning was not an easy one, but we eventually got along and five years later, here we are, happy with our son. Bella, those people are not a part of your life anymore and they will never be. That chapter of your life is closed. You are now the Luna of this pack, you are now my mate, my wife and the mother of my child. The mother of the future Alpha of this pack. This is your life now and this is what you should be thinking about. Forget the Donovans. They are history. You belong here, in this castle, ruling by my side. We still have a long way to go in this journey my love, so forget about people who don't matter and focus on the important things." He said and kissed her hair.

　　"Achilles." Diana called through mindlink.

　　"Yes Diana."

　　"Dinner's ready. I tried to reach out to Bella, but her mind link is blocked. We are waiting for you."

　　"You guys go ahead, Bella and I will eat later."

　　"Is anything wrong?"

　　"She went to see Donovan's today and she came back devastated. I'm trying to console her."

　　"Why the hell would she go to see those people?" Diana asked aghast.

　　"I have no idea. Right now I'm trying to get her to calm down. It's up to you to feed Alex and tuck him in bed. Mind you, he's a picky eater, just like me. "

　　"Copy that. You get on with consoling Bella, I'll handle Alex. Good night, I love you."

　　"I love you more sweet heart " He said and blocked the mindlink.

　　"Who was that?" Bella asked.

　　"Diana. She wanted to let us know that dinner was ready, but I told her we'd eat later."

　　"Huh?" Bella asked, confused.

　　"Yeah, we'll eat later. Right now, I need to take a shower and I want you to join me. It's been a while since we took a bath together and I'm dying to have a shower moment with you. Please." He pleaded and Bella just shook her head and laughed.

　　"I'm hungry."

　　"Come on babe, pretty please."

　　"Achilles, I have to feed Alex and tuck him into bed."

　　"Diana said she's going to do that."

　　"No she didn't!"

　　"Yes she did, I even told her Alex was a peaky eater. She's got this covered babe, come on, let's have some time for ourselves. Please." He pleaded with his best puppy eyes and Bella could not reset their charm.

　　"Alright then, lock up the door and meet me in the shower." She instructed and Achilles squeaked in excitement as he rushed to the door.
