Alpha D'argan's dead body was burned and his ashes thrown into the sea that same night.
Every curse was broken. The sick children, including little Bella, were healed. She-wolves got back their full moon periods and the boundary spell was broken because they had nothing to be scared about.
The moon goddess granted Diana the power to make a powerful spell and with that power, she was able to put back Alex's soul in his body. Achilles, then went ahead to make Alex the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack after he found his mate in the pack. The people of the pack were beyond grateful to have him as their Alpha.
Everything was back to the way it used to be before the massacre and Grandma finally went back to be with her ancestors. There was once more peace in the werewolf world.
The Alphas ruled their packs as they should, with Achilles ruling over them all as Paramount Alpha. Everyone was happy.
"Baby." Bella called as she walked into the bedroom. Achilles, who was seated on the bed, turned to look at her and smiled. He had been so lost in thought that he did not hear her walk in. "Are you alright?" She asked, making her way to the bed where he was seated.
"Yes I am."
"Are you sure?" Bella insisted and he nodded his head.
"Yes love."
"Then tell me, why were you so lost in thought?" She asked concerned and Achilles calmly lay on the bed and pulled her into his arms.
"I was thinking of everything that has been going on and I'm just grateful to the Moon goddess for this great victory. Twenty years of bondage and misery have finally come to an end. We can finally live normal lives, we can finally give birth to and raise our children in a peaceful world. We fought a good fight Bella and I'm happy that we turned out victorious." He explained as he calmly stroked Bella's hair.
Bella smiled as she sat upright to look at him.
"Well… I am just as happy as you are for this victory my love. As you rightly said, we fought a good fight and the Moon goddess gave us the redemption she had promised. I know it's hard, but you have to try to put this behind you. By that, I mean you should stop thinking about everything that has happened every time. The war is over and right now, you have not only your pack to rule, but the rest of the packs in this world. There's so many other things for you to think about, not that tyrant and his reign. He is history. Please love, get D'argan out of your mind and focus on more important things." She pleaded and Achilles nodded his head as he let out a heavy sigh.
He knew everything Bella had just said was nothing but the truth.
Alpha D'argan was history. There were more important things for him to think about.
"Are the kids ready?" He asked, referring to Alex and Bella.
"Yes, they are. Diana and I are done packing their stuff. They can't wait for their uncle Alex to come and pick them up. They look forward to spending some quality time with him at his castle." Bella explained and Achilles couldn't help but smile. Ever since Alex came back to life, the children had been weirdly close to him.
He loved them very much and had made arrangements with their parents to have them come over to the Crescent Moon Pack to spend the weekends with him.
"He's going to instill good manners and determination in Alex, but for Bella, I fear he's going to spoil her." He speculated and Bella couldn't help but laugh.
"You think he's not going to spoil Alex as well?"
"No he won't, especially as Alex has some of my characteristics. He's going to flog out every naughtiness from him. Just watch and see how Alex grows into a well behaved young man under the supervision of his uncle." Achilles explained and Bella was totally amused.
"I would love that so much."
"Achilles." Diana called through mindlink and immediately, Achilles closed his eyes to reply.
"Yes Diana."
"Alex is here to take the children. We are all waiting for you in your living room." She announced and Achilles immediately stepped down from the bed.
"We will be right there." He said and blocked the mindlink before turning to face Bella. "Alex is here." He said putting on his shoes. Bella immediately crawled from the bed and did the same before they both exited the bedroom.
When they got to the living room, they were not surprised at all to see the children sprawled up in Alex's arms and giggling as he showered them with kisses.
"Alex." Bella called in excitement as she walked over to him. Alex immediately put the kids down and pulled her into a warm embrace.
"Nice to see you again, sweetheart. How are you doing?" He asked and Bella disengaged herself from the hug and looked up at him with a bright smile on.
"I'm doing just fine, thank you."
"I can see that. You look amazing. My brother is doing a great job."
"Son of a cow!" Achilles mumbled under his breath and snorted.
"I heard that!" Alex made it clear and that only made Achilles roll his eyes.
"Yeah, whatever." He said carelessly and Alex just shook his head.
"The kids and I will be leaving now. I'll bring them back on Sunday evening so they can resume training on Monday. Now say your last goodbyes for the week." He instructed and the mother's hugged and kissed the kids, same with Tony and Achilles.
"Goodbye mummy, goodnight daddy." Both Alex and Bella said, waving at their parents before rushing out of the living room.
"See you all on Sunday." Said Alex before turning to leave.
"Alex!" Achilles suddenly called. Alex stopped on his tracks and turned to face him. Without warning, Achilles took long strides over to him and crashed into his arms. An act which took everyone, including Alex, off guard, but he calmly returned the hug without asking any questions.
Tony, Bella and Diana exchanged confused glances.
"Take good care of yourself and the kids too." Achilles cautioned the moment he broke the hug.
"I will do just that."
"Thank you."
"You too, take good care of yourself and the girls. Send a word to me if anything comes up, am I understood?" He asked seriously and Achilles nodded his head. "Good. I'll be on my way now, good bye."
"Good bye."
The moment Alex left, Achilles turned around only to see three pairs of eyes giving him very curious looks.
"Leave me the hell alone!" He lamented as he walked past them.
"There's nothing for you to be embarrassed about. It's normal for one to hug his brother and urge him to take good care of himself." Diana spoke out loud as he ascended the stairs.
"I like how you handle him. Good job!" Bella complimented her as she followed Achilles up the stairs and to their bedroom. The moment she walked in, Achilles pinned her to the wall and captured her lips in a deep passionate kiss that almost took her breath away.
"Only the moon goddess knows how much I've been wanting to do this to you all day." Achilles whispered huskily over lips. "I want to strip you off your clothes right now and make love to you like never before. Do I have your permission to do that?"
"Anytime, any day." Bella replied with a sweet smile and immediately, Achilles swept her into his arms and carried her bridal style to the bed.
The first time they met was in a forest where he saved her from being killed by rogues. Later came the mysterious night they spent together which led to her getting pregnant. They had a lot of differences, but they learned to put all of them behind and accept each other for who they are. Their love for each other made it possible to work hand in hand and defeat the tyrant king who had made their lives miserable.
The people of the wall street pack had finally gotten the redemption they deserved and the slave girl had finally gotten the happy she had always craved for. Most importantly, she had found love in the arms of the Mighty Alpha King.
"I love you." Bella whispered in his ears.
"I love you more baby. I love you from here to the moon and back. Always remember that." And indeed, he loved her that much.
She was his mate, his wife and Luna. The mother of his child and unborn children.
She was the love of his life and nothing could change that fact.
THE END.
