“Mum, why are you crying?” Chamberlin wiped a tear from my eyes and I chuckled.

“It’s nothing honey” I smiled as I cleaned my face. Chamberlin didn’t look convinced.

“Was it what I said?” he probed further. I took it into my arms and began to tickle him. He fell over with laughter.

“Yes, it’s what you said,” I said laughing.

“I’m sorry” he smiled when our laughter had quieted down.
