I forced down the bile in my throat as I made my way to Jake's car. This time was not like before. I walked to the car in shame and pain. The reason I wanted to see Jake was that, he wouldn't leave here without seeing me. He was as obstinate like a goat when he wants something and for the first time I could see what my actions had done. Maybe forgiving Jake and meeting him was not really the best. Now he has gotten the idea I was going to give him another chance.
