Chapter 4

Diana's POV

All eyes got fixed on me and I was still glued to the floor. My vision was splitting, I managed to get up with everyone still looking at me as if they were watching their favorite movie.

“Ouch,” I winced when I felt the pain on my knees. That knocked me back to my senses and I wasn't feeling dizzy anymore.

“Oops! Isn't she the youngest daughter of the Harrison's family?” I heard someone murmuring.

“Great job, now you have got everyone's attention for all the wrong reasons,”

“Way to make an entrance, I guess,”

“Hah, clumsy much?”

“She must be embarrassed, falling like that in front of everyone,”

I heard different comments as I made my way to my parents and sister. I was holding the urge not to cry, embarrassing my parents twice in a night.

Arianna was already fuming before I got closer. My prayer was for the Lee's family shouldn't be here tonight, that would hurt them even more.

“I'm sorry,” I apologized and a tear fell on my cheeks. It hurts me when they look at me like this.

“Composure yourself until the end of this party,” My Dad said, without looking at me.

I followed his gaze and my heart almost dropped in my stomach. The Chairman of the Harrison's family and his Sons' were walking towards us.

“Well, that was embarrassing. Your daughter was trying to put on a show, huh?” Banjo, the father commented and I rubbed my fingertips together.

I felt someone's gaze on me and I saw that it was coming from one of the triplets. No, the three of them.

One of them winked at me, I was stunned and looked behind me to check if I had mistaken. This was my first time seeing the three of them together, I am not a social media person so I wasn't concerned about them.

Suddenly, I felt my head spinning again. My Dad and Banjo were exchanging words and I found Arianna to be glaring at me.

“I don't think your presence is needed here, Mr. Lee. You are only here to spout out words,” my Dad said, meeting his gaze.

Banjo snickered and my gaze fell on the three guys. They stood there expressionlessly, it was as if they came here on a mission.

“Wow, I never knew my nicety could lead to this. I only wanted to say ‘hello’, to you and your family. And enjoy the night,” he smirked and I felt the aura around him darkened before his gaze fell on me.

I looked away instantly and twirled my fingers around my hair. He was acting pridefully and it was getting to me already.

I took a long breath and practiced my words in my head. I cleared my throat to gain their attention.

“Actually, Mr. Lee, I don't see any need for your comments either. But if you insist on making them, at least have the decency to address me directly,” I interjected confidently even when my inner mind was in a great turmoil.

“See who we have here. Apart from being too clumsy, I see your daughter doesn't have a sense of respect for her elders,” he asserted and I scoffed.

“You are only here to create ruckus. And as for your attempt at nicety, let's just say your definition seems a bit skewed. But don't worry, we will enjoy the night just fine without your presence,” I added and I saw him fisting his balls angrily.

I felt those emotions again, my head was about to split into two. My eyes were heavy and I suddenly felt heated.

“I will be in the restroom,” I told my parents and I heard my Mum's voice before I could take a step.

“Do you know your way?” She asked.

“Yeah, I can manage,” I left without waiting for her response. I placed my hand on my forehead and inhaled and exhaled loudly.

I did that for my family. I caused the disgrace so I have to resolve it. I hope they find it cool and just praise me for the first time.

My thoughts were interrupted by my heartbeat, which was pounding quite uneven. I wonder what was wrong with me. I went out of the grand hall to go meet Emily.

I found her resting on the car while pressing her phone. I called her a few times until she heard me.

“Emily,” I called, stretching my hands forward when she was close enough and she held me.

“Sweety, what's wrong? Are you okay?” She asked, checking my temperature.

“What?!” she shrieked loudly and covered her mouth.

“You are burning. What happened?” She walked me to the car while I tried to contain the heat. It was becoming unbearable.

“I-I…” I held my forehead, unable to complete my words.

“Should I get you water?” She asked, concern was laced in her voice.

“H-Heat,” I stuttered, my hands going behind my dress in search of the zipper.

“Hey, stop! What are you doing?” She held my hands.

“Let go. I am feeling suffocated,” I told her weakly.

“Should I inform your parents about it?” She asked and I shook my head.

“All right, since this hotel is booked for the event. I guess the rooms must be open, do you wanna rest in there?” She suggested and I couldn't agree less.

That was better. I would be able to take a shower to wash off this dizziness and get out of this dress.

Emily held me all the way to the elevator. I wanted to ask her why she wasn't taking me to the room that was on the first floor.

My predicament got me tongue tied as I swallowed my saliva. The heat was becoming unbearable with each second passing by.

“C-Emily,” I stuttered again, staggering out of the elevator.

“Don't worry, baby girl. You will be fine, we are almost there,” she comforted me as I clung to her side tightly.

The silent hallway was interrupted by Emily's sudden ringing phone.

“Geez! Who is this?” She grumbled as she managed to pull out her phone, then I heard her loud voice promptly.

“What?!” She let go of me instantly, I almost stumbled but she held me.

“Oh, I am sorry. Go down to room 50, the room is very nice and comfy. I gotta go,” she pecked my cheeks and dashed out, leaving me all alone.

“Argh!” I held my head and used the wall for support. Why was I feeling so much heat? I rested on the wall and my eyes darted to a room, adjacent to where I stood.

I dragged myself and managed to get to the room. Then all of the sudden, a wave of sexual desire rushed through my veins as I clutched on the door's handle.

I was greedily gasping for air. At first, I thought it was part of my regular symptoms but this was so different.

I opened the door and found the room to be extremely dark. I didn't ponder about it too much and searched for the zipper of my gown and got out of it.

I began to hear whimpers, making my heart skip a beat. Then I felt this rush of emotions again and I heard someone saying in the dark.

“W-who a-are you?” It was a male's voice.

I was about to respond when I felt a sudden movement and the person rushed to kiss me.

My eyes flung open when the familiar scent hitted my nose. I racked my brain and tried to recall where I had perceived it from but I couldn't.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt the person's hot palms on my back. I didn't bulge even when I realized what was going on, because I liked it.

It was relieving me of the heat, I moaned when the unknown guy left my lips and traced my neckline.

The kiss was intense and demanding, my mind didn't wander about how I just lost my first kiss. The unknown guy's body was as hot as mine. We both got lost in pleasure and we did the deed.

THE NEXT MORNING.

The room was very dark, and the only source of light was the few rays of light, shining through the heavy lined curtains.

The white ceiling was what I saw as I opened my eyes. This wasn't my room, I am sure of it. I rubbed my face and tried to get up but froze when I felt something clasped my waist.

I dragged the bedspread and my eyes widened when I realized I wasn't the only one, someone was in the bed with me!

I tried to sit upright only to find out that I was n@ked! My heartbeat quickened as I tried to recall how I ended up being here.

The heels, Lee family, Emily, the heat…. My eyes also bulged out when I realized what just happened.

'I have been drugged!’ I screamed loudly in my head.

“Oh no,” I muttered under my breath and tried to get out of the bed. But I felt a hand holding my wrist.

“Let go of me!” I yelled and yanked my hand from his grip. He groaned softly while I hastily wore my clothes back.

My parents, what would they think of me? I have always been disappointing them and now this. A lone tear fell on my cheeks as I tried to zip up my dress.

I kept sniffing silently, picking up my things but paused when the light was turned on. I shut my eyes because the bright light agitated my migraine.

“We need to talk,” the unknown guy said but I didn't turn to look at him.

“There is nothing to talk about. This never happened, it will die here,” I told him and was about to open the door when I heard hurried footsteps towards this room.

“Gba gba gba!” I was startled when I heard some murmuring and the banging of the door.

“I knew it,” I turned when I heard the guy saying but froze when I saw who it was.

“What?!” I stood there stupefied when my gaze fell on one of Lee's sons. My parents won't take this slightly with me.

My vision blurred as I watched him dress and the banging of the door didn't stop. What have I done?

He walked closer to me and pulled me away from the door.

“Just stay mute. Do not utter a word,” he instructed but my mind was too cloudy to process anything at the moment.

He went to open the door and I watched as reporters entered, the flashlight of their cameras almost blinding me.

“Miss Harrison, can you explain to us what you are doing here with your family's rival?”

“Mr. Lee, what do you have to say?”

Different questions were thrown at us and Mr. Lee smiled, he walked closer to me and held my shoulder.

“Are you two dating?” one of the reporters asked.

“Yes,” his response was direct and instant.

“Huh?” I gawked at him as he lied smoothly.

“Isn't that right, my darling?” He asked me and I was too dumbfounded to respond.
