Mirenda had music plugged in her ears, so she didn't follow what her mother and brother talked about.

"Mirenda!" Mrs Haward yelled, causing Mirenda to jump in her seat. "Are you with us?" she questioned. 

Mirenda looked at the four eyes looking at her and she nodded a 'yes'.
