Back in Toronto, Alice dialled Ana's number after 8 p.m.

"Ana, mum just passed out?" Alice said.

"What!" Ana exclaimed sitting on the bed quickly from her sleeping position.

"I don't know what happened but mummy is not waking up," Alice cried. 

"I am coming over," Ana said and ended the call before Alice could say anything further.
