I watched Delia's face carefully as she finished telling me her story. The pain in her eyes was real. Twenty years is a long time to carry such a heavy secret.

"So just that was how it all happened," I said, trying to make sense of everything.

"Yes, I honestly didn't know from the beginning that that was what they intended to do. I didn't even know there were drugs in the juice," she said, her voice filled with regret.
