The door slammed, it's noise echoing in the empty hallway, I hated it here. I needed to catch my breath.

Without a second thought, I rushed downstairs and dragged the door open. The cold wind hit me straight in my face and I winced, it was freezing.

I stepped out slowly and closed it.

Taking small steps, I walked away from the mansion, I must have forgotten I was in a new territory, 15 minutes later, I was standing alone on a very lonely road.
