“The red dots signify rivers,” Eira was saying. We'd been at it for the past few minutes. Eira's long red finger trailing over the lines as she explained. I didn't understand any of it and I was starting to get bored but I nodded instead.

I glanced at the map and tried to count the red dots.1,2….. 12. That was a lot. That explained the cold atmosphere in the forest.
