Elin's POV

The bathroom is at the far end of the hallway, swallowed in shadows.

I push the door open. The overhead light flickers once, twice, then dies completely. My breath catches.

'Great.' I fumble for the switch. Nothing.

Darkness presses in from all sides. The kind that feels thick, suffocating. The kind that drags me back to those nights in the wilderness, alone and cold and waiting for something to tear me apart.

I force myself to move. Use the damn bathroom. Get out.
