Suddenly, a man rushed forward and kicked the burly thug holding me hostage, sending him sprawling.

The bodyguards charged in, pinning the man down. His accomplices raised their hands, not daring to resist.

I turned in panic and saw that the one who’d saved me from the kidnappers was Aaron.

Wasn’t he supposed to be rescuing Clara? Why was he here all of a sudden?

And clearly, he’d climbed up the side of the building. How did he manage that on such a tall structure? ...
