Elin's POV

My phone buzzes during lunch break. Aaron's name lights up the screen.

'Come to my office. We'll eat together.'

I delete the message without responding.

The cafeteria hums with conversations and the clatter of trays. I grab a tray and head to the counter, scanning the options—simple fare, nothing fancy. A salad and soup will do.

I'm halfway through ordering when footsteps approach from behind.

"Miss Morgan."
