Morning light seeped like silk through the master bedroom curtains, softly spilling across the bed. I stirred slowly, consciousness pulling from dream’s lingering warmth. Last night’s dream so beautiful, like a moonlit fairy tale: Aaron and me racing Blue Moon Pack forests, him shifting to mighty black wolf, me riding his back, wind whipping my face, Istha and Arthur shoulder-to-shoulder growling, chasing firefly-stars.
