Erikson flinched. His jaw worked, and finally, he turned to face me. His eyes were tired, shadowed with the same exhaustion I'd seen in Aaron's. "You warned him," he said quietly. "You told Alpha Aaron to stay away. Not to appear in front of you anymore."

My stomach twisted.

"He took it seriously, Elin. He told all of us---if we see you, we're to keep our distance. We're not supposed to bother you."
