What a peaceful weekend it was, or maybe that was what I assumed it to be, considering how far I'd run from the things I termed as problems in my life. I couldn't get Carl's divorce from Linda out of my head, nor could I push away the fact that I was the one holding back what could be a healthy friendship with Beverly, but like I always say- it wasn't that easy.

I'd successfully blocked out all of that, and all I looked forward to was a pretty weekend with Velma- without interference ...
