I descended to the cells by myself. The air smelt of rust and must and the walls were damp and cold. Water dripped from a hole above, making eerie sounds and forming a puddle on the floor. I placed the torch in front of me, waving it to chase the rodents away.. My boots echoed in the silent passages and the keys in my pocket clinked.
