The next day, I was woken up by a knock on the door. I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand before sauntering to the door. As I opened it, Harry was standing there with a wide smile on his lips.

“Did I wake you”? He asked, extending his hands to me in greeting. I stared at his hands.

“Hi, I am Beta Harry, your mate’s right-hand man and best friend.

“I don't have a mate,” I replied, ignoring his outstretched hands.
