I could smell the weekend energy as I strolled into the lobby of NovaMeds, my new workplace. 

Everybody had a hopeful look in their eyes and the entire place had a more relaxed atmosphere than a normal weekday. 

As soon as the elevator doors opened, and I stepped out, Ava waved at me from behind her desk.

“Morning, star girl,” she said, grinning.
