I stood by the river bank barefoot, watching the sun set on the horizon. 

It was past midnight, the sky was thick with stars. It was the kind of night that makes memories flare within me.

Water was my comfort place. It had been a hectic day, and I needed to cool off before going back to the pack to rest for the day. 

I peeled off my clothes one layer at a time, shedding the suffocating weight of the day, until I stood in nothing but my black underwear.
