A few hours later, I was at the hospital.

Carrick was waiting at the entrance for me.

“What’s the report right now”? I asked, steeping in with him.

“Why are you here”?

“Alpha Morgan sent me. I am here to check on the progress of Violet and the pup. He is worried.”

I gritted his teeth and nodded.

We got into the elevator and went up to the third floor.
