The maid knocked at the door to Luke’s room with a tray of biscuits and two glasses of milk and juice and 7 year old sully opened the door and carried the tray “thankyou very much” sully said smiling “Umm…princess sully-” the maid was saying when sully went back inside and slammed the door at her face.

“Cunts, they never brought anything for me” she said as she dropped the tray on the table and turned to look who just sat on the bed. Luke was announced to the whole seven kingdoms as a mute but will still be the heir to the throne “don’t look at me like that, do I look like I care about these damn old people?” sully said and look still kept starring at her with his innocent face “forgot what I said, let’s go back to were we stopped” sully said and sat on beside him with a book “you have to learn to rule seven kingdoms you know that?” sully said and looked at Luke who was looking outside the window and she sighed “I know you can hear me, cause you’re not that dense” sully said and touched his hand and he looked at her.

“Where are the kids?” albert asked as him and his personal guard walked inside the palace hall “they’re at prince Luke’s room my grace” his hand, ser. Eriston his personal knight said “bring Prince Luke to the practice field” albert said and Eriston nodded.

“The king would wish to see prince Luke, princess sully” the maiden said looking at the floor and sully didn’t look away from the book in her hand “at the training field if I may guess” sully said as she looked at Luke and at the maiden and the maiden nodded “let’s go Luke” sully said and held his hand and they both stood up.

Luke was brought to the field 4 times in a week to learn how to use a sword but, he either goes back getting hurt or crying silently and sully felt sorry for him every time but that was the tradition of every heir before he inherits the throne.

Minutes turned into hours and sully was tired of seeing them torturing her own brother even if they knew it was no use because he won’t still get it cause he didn’t understand anything, he was just crying without any sound.

“isn’t it enough for Today?, ser Williams” sully said as she stood up from the chair she was sitting on which was beside her fathers’.

“sully, sit down” albert said and took a sip of his wine “why? , does it please you to see your own child crying without hearing a voice?” sully said “what did you just say?” albert said and looked at sully and sully scoffed.

“You know training him like this would be of no use, do you?” sully said as she walked down the stairs slowly to the field and helped Luke to stand up.

“Your attitude has grown more than your age sully-” albert was saying when she interrupted him “and your age has grown more than your mind, father” sully said as she dusted the sand off Luke’s body and cleaned the tears off his face.

“princess sully-” a maid was trying to call out to her to apologize when albert looked at the maid dead in the eye.

“You act so much like your mother you know that?” albert said “Thank you very much, I don’t even know if you’re my real father sometimes, because you don’t seem to act like you are” sully said and albert sighed.

“I and my brother is going to study under the olive tree near the cleaning house, don’t bother to look for us” sully said and albert just watched her take him away, he was so proud, because of the way she defended her younger brother and just like that, no one can ever try to hurt Luke under her watch.

“I am so sorry about that your grace, I swear she doesn’t act like that in our presence, we haven’t seen such attitude like that of hers before” the head maid, lucy, sully’s personal servant said and albert smiled “but I like that attitude” albert said and chuckled.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into years, sully didn’t stop teaching Luke how to read and hear words, now he could understand and write what he wants to say but, he only communicated with sully, no one else, he acts dumb in the presence of others including his father and the midwife but communicates freely with sully.

Sully and Luke were now 16 years old and Luke was at the age to learn about the kingdom, they were also at the age for marriage but they were more focused on each other and spending their future together.

“Sorry for the late delivery, your grace, I had a lot of errands to take care of for the king” Anna, a new maid who was brought to the kingdom after a lot of training by the countryside said as she dropped a tray of biscuits and two glasses of juice and Luke smiled at her, she was about turning to leave when Luke touched her and she turned to him and he put a biscuit in hand and she smiled and bowed and turned to him.

“that’s so suspicious of you to do” sully said as she carried a glass of orange juice and he smiled “do you like her?” sully asked and he shook his head a no and she scoffed “bloody liar, I’ve known you too well, even father can’t get your attention but a beautiful virgin maiden did, that’s so surprising of you to do, your grace” sully said and Luke smiled at her and she could tell that his face expressions said that he likes Anna.

“I knew it, there’s nothing in this world that I don’t know about you, your grace” sully said and he laughed silently.

Luke learnt archery in just the twitch of an eye, he could spare a prey from meters away and do it perfectly, he does it more than the way of the sword and sully is good at knives and swords and she was too perfect at it that no one in the training class could defeat her, she was on a higher level.

“Wow, you’re more like the opposite of your grace I must say” Sarah, sully’s closest friend said as sully used a wooden sword to hit the fake human that was made of hay “that’s what you think” sully said.

“Have you ever had desires for the throne sully?” Sarah asked as she used a stick broom to sweep the hay that were pouring on the ground “of course I did, but it’s of no use to me now”

“oh, I get you, if you were to be a male then you would be the one for the crown” Sarah said and sully laughed “even if I were to be a male, Luke would still be the one for the crown” sully said as she dropped the wooden sword on a bench and took a cup of water “I don’t think so, I prefer you to be the one for the throne instead of that ungrateful cunt” Sarah said and they both laughed.

“You would be beheaded if someone heard that” sully said “that’s why I said it to you, because I know you know it’s true” Sarah said and continued sweeping.

“You got ignored by Luke again didn’t you?” sully asked and Sarah paused and gazed at sully “that was a fatal rejection I must say, never given the opportunity to say what I want to say” Sarah said and continued sweeping.

“Don’t worry child, a time would come for you to understand him” sully said and sat on a wooden chair “Understand him how?, he just stares at me whenever I speak like I’m not important” Sarah said “well that’s his method of communication, his face expressions, there’s nothing hard there to do, I even like it because we can have a lot of secrets that others can’t get” sully said and Sarah scoffed.
