Another person that Sully cared for was Jace Midway, he loved boys and she was the only one that knew about it, he almost got caught laying with his guard when he was 14 so the person he could turn to ask for help was only sully, she made people believe that they were lovers so nobody could suspect our question it, she knew that if his father heard about it, he’ll get banished from the Midway kingdom, so sully and Jace promised each other to act like lovers until Jace inherits the Kingdom.

Luke heard whimpers from the basement as he was walking through the lobby, he stopped and looked at the basement stairs “is there any problem, my prince?” his personal guard, ser. Erryk asked and Luke didn’t say anything, he was walking towards the stairs when his guard was following him and he used his hand to block the guard “no way, you want to go there alone my prince?, if anything goes wrong, I’ll be the one responsible for it-” ser. Erryk was saying whenLuke looked at him.

Ser. Erryk bowed and stepped back “my apologies, my prince”.

Luke walked into the dark foggy basement, the wall fire lights were only two and they were only in the staircase entrance.

He kept hearing the whimpers but this time it was muffled and it was a female voice, he kept walking down the stairs till the end and turned and saw a man.

The man looked and Luke and buttoned up his trousers and pushed Luke and ran away, Luke fell on the floor and hit his head on a box, his head was bleeding and he stood up to look at the girl, she was the maid that served biscuits for him the other day, she was crying and her body was shivering all over, there was a lot of questions he wanted to ask at that moment but he couldn’t.

“What’s your name?” Sully asked as the clutched her dress with her hand “Elena Wills, My princess” she said with a cracking voice “so Elena, can you remember who was the man with you in the basement?” sully asked and she started shivering and tears kept sobbing.

“Princess Sully I don’t think this is the right time to do this, she must be shocked from-” Elena’s brother was saying when sully looked at him “I want to find the man that hurt my brother, not the one that did that to her” sully said as she was walking to him.

“But they are still the same person” the man said “and how did you know?, Elena haven’t said a word, ser. Erryk hasn’t and my brother can’t even say a word” Sully said and the man didn’t say anything and sully turned back.

“I know because there is a possibility, and she is my sister” the man said again “why did you sleep with your sister?” sully asked as she sat on her chair.

“What nonsense are you accusing me of?” the man said and ser. Philip, Sully’s personal guard drew out his sword and brought it near the man’s neck “mind your words ser.” Ser. Philip said and sully gave him a sign to bring down his sword.

“I mean to think of it, who won’t lay with such a beautiful girl, it must be so tempting because she’s your sister” sully said as she carried a cup and a maid poured some wine into her cup.

“My sister is my only family, why would I do such?” the man asked “how would I know?” sully said and smiled “you work as a cleaner here, don’t you?” sully asked.

“That doesn’t mean I-” he was saying when sully interrupted him “so you do work here, and after your shift, you keep the cleaning items in the basement, I guess, well, there is actually nothing to guess about here” sully said and stood up and walked towards Elena and she started shivering.

“I went home right after my shift your grace” the man said “you sure?, lying might add more charges” sully said with a grin “no… I- I-” the man was saying when Elena interrupted him.

“I remember who it was” Elena said and sully turned to her “ch-charles” Elena muttered “Charles, you mean the man who works in the pigstry?” Elena’s brother said and sully scoffed.

“Sorry but I was with Charles before I heard the news” sully said and turned to Elena’s brother “it’s time to come clean Elena, for my and for your sake as well” sully said looking at Elena and Elena avoided sully’s eyes.

Elena immediately dropped to the floor and started crying and shivering, sully knew that she’ll come clean, her guts were always true.

“Please have mercy, your grace” Elena said and her brother looked at her “do you admit?” sully asked and bent down to look at Elena’s face and Elena slowly nodded her head.

“I do not understand what she is saying princess sully why would I do such?” her brother said and sully looked at ser. Philip and the guards held Elena’s brother “get your hands off me” the man said as he tried to block the guards from holding his arm.

“Hang him up in the town square as a demonstration for others” sully said and Elena started crying loudly “please, he’s the only family I have” Elena said and sully scoffed.

“Since when did you start judging the matters of lowly people?” the man shouted as they where trying to pin him to the ground.

“My brother was injured” sully said as she stood upright and walked to her chair and sat down “liar!” the man shouted and Ser. Philip used his sword to cut the man’s head off from his body and his body dropped to the ground.

Elena was short of words, seeing her only family butchered in her presence, sully wasn’t that surprised, it wasn’t the first time someone was being murdered in her presence because anytime she took a stroll in the countryside, villagers always cursed at her and that was seen as a highly form of treason in Dracules.

Luke’s expression was rather surprised than sully imagined and he looked at her like she did it on purpose “I didn’t plan for it to end like that in anyway but he called me a liar and also he should face the consequences of it, I mean look at you, I don’t think your head will heal anytime soon, sully said and touched his face and Albert barged inside the room.

“Are you okay, son?” Albert asked and Luke’s face totally had no expressions and Albert sighed “You’re okay I guess” Albert said and turned to ser. Christopher “send the girl back to the countryside-” Albert said as Luke grasped sully hand and she noticed that he was giving her a sign.

“Don’t worry father, things have already been taken care of, I suppose there is no need for your opinion and besides, the man was her only family, sending herb back would take her to start working in a pleasure house” sully said and smiled at Luke.

“If you say then, alright, have a good rest Luke” albert said and waited for Luke to show an expression but there was no reaction at all.
