Alexander was already seated in his car when I reached him. He was seated in the driver’s seat quietly as he waited for me to come. When I got to the car, it was unlocked, so I opened it gently and got in. 

As I entered the car, Alexander took a deep breath and exhaled softly. He swallowed hard and turned to look out his window. What Adrian had revealed to him was enough to make him hate me or be disgusted at me, or even my presence.
