Aria's/Lysara's POV

My back ached with the sting of the whip, hot heat blazing through every nerve in my back. I heard the whip slice the air again, and I jumped away from the window, making a quick dive in the direction of my room before the whip crashed down on my back.

Perhaps if I got back into my room, I would be able to shut the door tight on them. Perhaps, I will be safe. Safe from Vyxen and Sarya, safe from Selene and Roran finding me like this, safe from everyone.
