Eira followed my eyes to the end of the hallway. She shifted to me, slanting me a glance, with her head tilted to the side and brows tight. “What's wrong?”

I looked at her from the corner of my eyes and battled with my mind if I should tell her that a figure that seemed like Maera was snooping, following us around, but for some reason, I thought otherwise, and I spun back for Selene and Roran's quarters.
