Aria’s POV

The plains were thick with snow. It spread everywhere, left, right, far, and back; it blended seamlessly with the dark sky, burning a sickly red above.

The world was tinted grey. Dark clouds, heavy with the threat of rain, covered the sky.

Thunder rumbled, growling with a fury of its own, a fury that barely matched mine. It split the veil of the sky in streaks of sharp momentary tears.
