I held my neck in my hands, rubbing my jaw and the top of my neck to get blood back on them. I struggled on the bed, pushing myself up to rest on the pillow, so I had a good view of everyone in the room.

“Why is that question necessary?” Vyxen directed at Nahlia, her face caught up in a tight frown.
